I bought this item from Sonix on their website. I had this system professionally installed at BestBuy and they were able to execute well on my 2011 Mercedes E350 convertible. The one piece that made this interface work was made by Naviks - I would highly recommend installing that unit before trying this interface. The physical installation was not the problem, but the software interface on the Boyo unit is terrible at best. The menus on the actual unit do not uniquely match up to the manual, so it was hard to perform certain features. Initially, the cameras they sent did not sit flush on the bottom of the side-mirrors (although the manual insisted they would) - I had to contact their (Boyo-vision) sales support to get me to send the correct camera type. One big flaw is that their rear-view camera that you install on the trunk is not oriented to be a true rear view camera! The "rear-view" orientation you are used to is done via post-processing on the base unit. I found this out by splicing the feed from that camera to the Naviks video interface. Grrrrr. As you can see from my attached images I was able to get a decent calibration after setting up the calibration tape in my garage (they advertise it can be done outside but in sunlight looking at red contrast off a white background is a challenge). Overall the unit does allow me to prevent smashing up the low front grille - I have no choice but to stick it out since I paid for professional installation on the car. But it is not a slick 360 implementation as seen in the S550 or newer Kia series. Perhaps some of these issues could be resolved in a firmware update, but so far the folks at Boyo-vision do not seem to indicate one is coming out. It's not worth the >$500 price tag, you'd be better served finding the cheaper versions on AliBaba...
