Amazingly Water and dust resistant.Pro. Affordably pricedCon. In the perfect instant if the glass dose break it shatters and can get everywhere. Note though the main portion of glass is still intact. Just small fragments and chunks will fall out like any other broken phone screen would when cracked..Update. 5 months later. This phone case is absolutely amazing just ordered a second one.my toddler finally did the highly improbable, cracking the case screen, take a note this phone case has been stepped on by a 1300 pound horse. Lost in a pasture for 2 days, has fallen and been manhandled and dropped by a toddler multiple times. And has withstand my husband's incredible ability to wreck his phones. The case screen cracked by the perfect scenario, of being throwing and landing in the correct spot with the perfect amount of force to do so. I thought the phone was lost but, the case saved it. Not a scratch on it. Would highly recommend this case for anyone, I would definitely choose my next phone around this case availability.I do wish they sold replacement screens. But with a case only being $15.99 it's affordable enough to replace.

Toughest case I've ever seen. Perfect for my 11 year olds.
This is an extremely sturdy and tough case that will protect your phone in almost any circumstance. The exterior is aluminum. The back, sides, and bevel around the front of the case which holds the plexiglass screen protector. It provides 360 protection front side back up down anyway you can imagine. Your ports are also protected. The charge port is protected by a quarter inch thick wetsuit type material. the headphones flag is protected by a metal plug that is on a hinge. Because of the metal frame, this case does not support Qi wireless charging. This is seriously the most sturdy case I've ever seen for a phone. I bought it for my 11 year old who has a tendency to drop his phone and break screens. After getting him a Galaxy S7, I didn't want to pay to have the screen repaired as I knew he would drop it within a week. This case is so sturdy it could be thrown against the wall and it wouldn't hurt the phone. Great Outdoorsman Construction anywhere you have a tendency that you might drop or bumped or something might fall in your phone this is the case for you.One thing to note about this case, unlike most cases this isn't one that you swapped on and off if you feel like a change for the weekend. The front and back are held together with six hex screws. The black dots you can see on the front of the screen. The bolts actually hold the frame together so this isn't something you're going to pop off in a couple of minutes. It's meant to stay on, and stay on well. It takes about 10 minutes to assemble the case.

Yes its bulky, but you searched for tough, heavy duty phone case so deal with it.
The case is fantastic. Yes its heavy and bulky, but its metal and that it why its so tough. The rubber molding is also designed well with crumple zones to make it resilient. The only catch is the glass sucks and will break. I took mine out and replaced with with decent tempered glass and now its rock solid.

If you're tough on phones like I am
Having broken my last S7 (while in an Otterbox) 3 days after I got it, I was looking for a new phone case. I came across this one, and figured for the price, I'd give it a go. This thing is beefy! It's a little heavy, but then again, it's metal, not plastic. I'm very hard on phones, so I wasn't a big surprised when the finish started coming off. I've got a couple small cracks in the glass on the case, but the phone is still 100% mint inside. If you're tough on phones like I am, you need this case! It's been dropped several times from 10+ feet, dropped it while walking and kicked it across the floor, and actually ran it over with my toolbox at work one time. I love this thing!

Must read before purchase.
My review today is only what I have experienced this far. I really enjoy the thought of the durability this case brings but as I have not dropped it yet I can't in good heart vouch that it is durable. Now the rubberized grip and shape makes a world of difference compared to the s7 without the case. In addition to the rugged build it also redirects the bottom speaker to face towards me so that I don't have to worry about accidentally covering the speaker. The positive aspects unfortunately stop there. While the phone may be completely encased offering additional protection, the s7 in my experience was a phone that ran hot from my daily use to begin with, and this seemed to hinder the performance even more. The protective glass over the display was causing some sort of visual disturbances that would change a bit depending on how i held the phone. The display on my phone while working effectively most of the time seemed to have issues recognizing my inputs near the edge of the screen. The home button isn't covered which allows for elements to get in the case even though there are port covers to help protect against it and while the ports do provide some additional protection I found the charger port difficult to open and a bit flimsy once open leading me to wonder if it will remain connected threw the lifespan of this case. One of my biggest gripes aside from the visual distortions is the audio port, with the bulk of the case I figured I would need to make sure I didn't use an elbow connector for the audio but even with a straight connector it doesn't fit. The rubber bumper opening around the charger is to small to fit any 3.5mm jack I tried. While we're on the track of audio issues, one of the other biggest flaws with this case is that while I was using calls and had the speaker on I would often get complaints of echoes that were so bad I couldn't continue the call on speaker. Overall I was very disappointed with this case despite its added functionality.
