It is an absolutely amazing book that was filled with raw passions and witty banter that pushed the soul to finish the book in one shot . I could not keep it down for the life of me. The journey of liam and tru is truly beautiful. Its one of those books you wish would go on forever and ever . after reading thousands of romance novels there are few that are able to hold my attention and this is one of those I could absolutely not help but turn the pages till I finished it . it made me fall in love with truvys fiery temper and liam's thoughtful but domineering presence . I loved it and would recommend you to totally give it a try!!!!

I can relate to the story but would have liked a little more from Liam's pov... Overall it was a great read.

Couldn't keep the book down for a minute.! Definitely a must read. Can't wait to read the next book in series.

This book has ultimate turns and twists, the story, the plot, the characters, the funny pointers, everything. You name it and it has it. This book is amazing!!!Coming to the story, it really keep you guessing and thinking who is Liam ( the main character) and what does he do, it all gets clear by the end of the story. It keeps you indulged in the book till the end. Tru aka Trucy (the main character) is amazingly amazing as well. Amazing experience. Loved it.

I read one of the reviews that the twist about the hero is amazing, and so it is. It really was exhilirating to get to know the real hero....so in love with him. The strength of their love is mind-blowing. Loved the book. And I loved the girl. She has such a quiet strength, so much sassy attitude to not take anything lying down that I am in awe of her. No wonder they both end up together. They both have their hearts in the right place.I loved the humor and language too. It really is a fulfilling book.

Without his honor, a man might as well be dead.”The reason I'm rating this low is, we don’t get to see Liam’s world much. We see the past and present world of Tru, but no clarity or picture of Liam’s present world. Since it’s a standalone, we can definitely skip that part, yet I would have loved to see more of his world. Hope to see more of that through Killian. Story moved in a steady pace with simple and beautiful writing style. Intrigued with Declan and Killian, hope we see them more in next books.“She’s my match. The Yang to my yin. There wasn’t anything that was too difficult to interpret, mainly incorrect tenses and duplicated words.The storyline / plot is strong and involves alpha males in the Irish mafia. The characters are well defined and dynamic. There is action, intrigue, and romance with strong chemistry.Truvy, aka Tru, is a waitress in a small diner. She is in Boston attending law school and she is close to finishing. Then almost a year ago he started coming in; tall, dark, handsome, and introspective and Tru is fascinated. Unfortunately she is half way tongue tied around him and doesn’t even know his name! He comes in for a coffee and just watches her, refuses to sit in anyone else’s section and will leave if he comes in and she is not working.Then one night she gets a little more nerve and tries to initiate some conversation, but it doesn’t really go anywhere. She is afraid that she will never see him again and he draws her like no one ever has before. After he leaves, Tru takes out the trash in the alley. The alley is a mess. Normally it is taken care of by the dishwasher, but the last one quit and her boss hasn’t hired a replacement yet. So she starts cleaning it up.Tru feels an arm go around her neck and something sharp against her neck. The man and his two friends inform her that she is going to take them into the restaurant, open the safe and the cash register. If she does what they say then she won’t get hurt. Tru grew up in Texas with 7 siblings and she starts fighting back, first biting his arm where she can reach it, kicking, elbowing, etc.With his superior strength and his two friends, Tru doesn’t stand a chance and before long she has been thrown on the ground, hit in the face, and kicked in the ribs and stomach. She still doesn’t give up and throat punches the aggressor and then curls up into a ball as they attack her. Then before she realizes it, they are not touching her anymore and are on the ground, not breathing and as she looks up it is him …

The MFC Truvy is feisty hilarious and relatable! Throw is a dark mystery man and seems like a well worn plot of the ages... but not this book! nothing ho-hum about these characters, their journey together, or their endings. A well written, steamy, amusing, dramatic story about people their heartaches and the inevitability of life love and death. Highly recommended!! I'm off to find and read another book by this amazing author.

I am soooo in love with this book. I read it twice, because it was so good written. The plot, the character, the tension between the main characters, all this has made this book to my absolute favorite.I should say it is nice to read a book where the female character is not a naive little girl, but a strong and independent woman who is not afraid of the male character and do not live to fulfill his every wish. It is also nice to read about the male character like Liam, very charismatic, powerful and who can still be a putty. I usually don't like books where women are treated as things and the men's greatest wish is to own her and make her submit, so it was good to find out how honorable Liam is.I can only advise you to read the book, it is so so great!

5 plus stars.What an amazing read this was. From start to finish I was mesmerised with the plot and the strong forceful characters. This story was like stepping into a bond film; from the very first page until the very last the excitement, the tension, all the twists and turns made for a phenomenal read.Liam Black is a presence to be very aware of. Head of the Irish Mafia, by all means, he is a dangerous man to be around. Alpha male personified, possessive, gorgeous, brooding and sex on legs, woman fall at his feet and men quiver in his presence. He always gets what he wants but he might have to work a little harder when he sees Truvy. He makes no bones about wanting her, only she might have other ideas.Truvy's character was so enjoyable to read, at first she came across as a little shy and quiet but when the going got tough, Truvy got going. What a little firecracker Truvy turned out to be, but will the Irish charm of Liam be enough to win her around, or when she finds out just who and what he does for a living make her run for the hills. Truvy might not have any choice in the matter.I can only describe this book as totally addictive, I couldn't put it down. It basically had it all. Wonderful characters; Liam was to die for, I literally drooled all the way through this book. The plot was sensational and kept me on the edge of my seat, the sex was hot and erotic yet beautifully written, in fact, the whole of the book was perfection. What more can I say but this book is an absolute MUST read, well done J.T. Geissinger, a new author for me but I will be looking up more of her books to read in the future.
