This stuff worked like a charm! Does Dr Tim's ammonia and 8oz of turbo start to a 36 gallon tank and it cycled in 6 days! Put a pair of snowflake clowns in on day 9 and, they're happy and healthy a month later. Absolutely would use again!

I love this stuff! I have used other starter bacterias, but nothing compares to this as far as speed that it can cycle an aquarium! Both times I have ordered from this seller (saltwateraquarium.com), these have arrived appropriately packaged with a cooling pack. Very satisfied!!

My bare bottom saltwater tank cycle stalled with high nitrites for >5-6 weeks (I attempted to cycle vis dosing a mix of ammonia and fish food; no fish were present). I initially inoculated the tank with Dr. Tim’s, tried multiple water changes, kept phosphate levels elevated, added Seachem Stability; all without success. Within 2 days of using this product, the nitrites dropped by 2PPM. Very impressed with how quickly it worked. The product shipped with a cold pack, though was arrived at ambient temp due to a shipping delay. However, this didn’t seem to have an impact on the effect. There was a slight sulfur odor but this dissipated rather quickly. I also greatly exceeded the recommended dosing (I dumped in 4oz for a 5 gallon tank) with great results. I highly recommend using this product for cycling dry rock saltwater tank. Just spend the extra money upfront instead of wasting time and money on other products.

Good stuff. It works smells like septic but it's supposed to is helping my aquarium cycle properly and fast. Thank you! I had added crushed coral with bits of organic matter in it. That makes my ammonia go up which is what I wanted. Also, I added macro algae. Some of it went through the wave maker and dispersed throughout the tank which also caused ammonia. So I put a little bit of this in the aquarium and tested the water daily. I also added a lot of porous filtration media and live rock and 3 to 4 inches of live sand. It was enough to dose my tank and also have more for when I add fish. This is good stuff and it works five stars all the way

Thanks to BayBridgeAquarium for telling me to put in the whole bottle, and shipping so fast, this is impossible to find out here on the Oregon Coast. Started up a new 13g EVO recently, but had some bad advice, did not cycle right. Have a Midas, Watchman Goby, and a Black Ice and had to change the water twice daily for a week just to keep ammonia down. Put this stinky stuff in, by the end of the day my ammonia actually went to 0 and fish look great. Tried this once before a long time ago without great success. I think it worked better this time because it came from a real LFS, so the expiration date was way far in the future. Using the bigger dose probably helped a lot too.
