Da LucaBallistic Nylon Military 1 Piece Watch Strap - Black (PVD Buckle) : 20mm

Buyer beware, this is a 3 ring strap (basic pass-through strap), and doesn't have a secondary strap to keep the watch face in place like this  olive version . I was going to return it, but fortunately it's a tight fit on my Seiko Black Monster and the watch stays put on the strap, even when not being worn. This strap is not 20mm wide, it is actually 18mm as shown in the attached image; not a huge deal, but this does leave some annoying wiggle room. The length at 10" seems short considering this is supposed to be a NATO strap. I'm a bigger guy (6'2", 220) but I don't have huge wrists, and use the 2nd or 3rd to last holes, which means I probably would not be able to wear my watch over a wetsuit.Now that we have the bad out of the way here's the pro's: The nylon is of good quality, the seams are all heavily stitched not heat sealed. Both the ends and all the buckle holes are heat sealed to prevent fraying. The PVD rings are of good quality and stay tucked up or down depending on your preference.Considering the high price of this strap compared to others on Amazon, I expected a bit more.

It seems well made. Fits nicely.The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because it has fastening holes all the way up the strap almost to the watch when the strap is mounted perfectly. That makes it extremely adjustable for people with tiny wrists but at some point you have to think no human wrist would go that small. It's an extremely minor aesthetic annoyance, because I wanted more strap area without the holes closer to the watch, but it's enough to make it slightly less than perfect 5 stars and worth mentioning for those buying.It should be noted I put it on a breitling bentley which is a big watch. It took up a lot of strap room to thread it through the watch itself so that might be why the holes go all the way up to the watch itself. But since this strap is 24mm I would imagine most people looking for one that wide are putting it on a big watch too.Still very nice, I'd recommend it to a friend, shipping was great too.

The Amazon description says it is 1.2mm thick. It seemed thicker. I measured with digital calipers. It is closer to 1.5mm thick but it is very flexible. If you have a large watch that needs a 26mm wide strap then this is the strap to use. A thiner strap would not support a large watch. If you have a large dive watch then get the DaLuca 5-ring NATO strap. The NATO strap is longer and will fit over a wetsuit. This strap is well made. No rough spots or sharp stitches. The hardware is heavy duty and is sewn in place‚ no spring bars to break or pop loose.

This band is a gorgeous shade of red; bright, blood red which is my favorite by far. Not too far off from the photo.The hardware has a solid, even, matte black finish.The nylon is strong and feels like it will last. It's pretty stiff right out of the box but breaks in nicely. It's also a true 26mm. It perfectly covers the entire band bar of my Tactix Bravo. Also, since it's a one piece band, installation and the swapping of bands takes all of 2 seconds.Overall a great band. Perhaps a little pricey compared to others but it does not look/feel cheap. You get what you pay for.

First, I should say that I really like this band: its thick with nice D-rings for added strength and it does feel very secure on the wrist. It's a great strap, so why only four stars? Well, this isn't a NATO band, which I admit, I should have seen. A NATO strap has an extra strap that slides under the watch whereas a ZULU strap, like this one, is a single strap. A NATO strap also has squared rings whereas a ZULU strap has rounded rings. If you're looking for a true NATO strap, this isn't for you. If you want a good looking, well constructed ZULU strap, look no further.

It is exactly what you are expecting. I am using this on a Garmin Fenix 2. This is the right dimension for that watch 26mm. I like this a lot better then the original bulky rubber, it is breathable and great for running. Like any nylon strap I find it needs to break in a bit to get comfortable. My only compliant with this specific one is that the metal fastener was a bit bent out of shape so the first few times putting it on, the fastener would miss the hole to connect into. I had to bend it into place, so the metal may not be the finest if that is what you are looking for. Just be mindful that this strap may need a bit of breaking in to get it right on your wrist.

I have two 26mm and three 22mm 1-piece DaLuca straps in different colors. These are very high quality. The strap length is OK for my 7 1/2 wrist with 44mm watches.The bands are about 1.4mm thick. They are easily cleaned with hand soap and warm water then air dried. The colors do not run when the straps are wet.

Quality is perfect, Dalucas are the only straps I buy. My only issue with this one is that the color is a lot darker than pictured or what you would think sand should be.
