I wanted an under counter fridge that served a few purposes and had to fit my checklist. This was exactly 24” wide and about 34” high, so no ugly gap between the counter and the top of the fridge. I wanted it to be clean lines on the outside to match my glass front sub zero - this looks like it could be the twin.Pros:-Fits really well under standard height counters-clean lines, not extra metal-4 lighting options, blue & white, on consistently or just when opening fridge- keeps beverages insanely cold on all shelves; bottles, cans, tetra packs- very quiet motor compared to others- ADJUSTABLE SHELVES this was my #1 ask- as I like to put a variety of different height beverages inside and wanted to max out the capacity.- glass shelves that are clean looking- airated shelves with holes, which help keeps everything cool and keeps the fridge from working so hard- comes with a lock to keep toddlers, kids and teens at bay- you can fit a ton of bottles- shelves slide in and out- beeps when the door is left open (super important, see comment below)There are a few cons:- you have to close softly or door bounces back open. Seems like the seal is perfect once closed, but could have better catching system. Luckily it beeps when the door is open.- ours came with the rough glass on the bottom of the shelves so it doesn’t help to keep the bottles from rattling. Not sure if this was a defect in our unit- would have been great had the glass had the etching coating on the actual bottle surfaces.-rattles - I think if the wire shelves had some sort of plastic coating it wouldn’t make as much noise. Not something that bothers us, but it’s noticeable when you open and close the fridge. ### ⭐ Short life span for the money *by O***O on July 22, 2025* Purchased from Amazon for $999 in 2020. 5 years later and we are stuck with a large piece of scrap metal that won't turn on. Called multiple appliance repair shops and no one will service it because they can't get parts for it. Buyer Beware! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks very high end and will actually keep your drinks COLD! *by B***Y on April 11, 2019* Most of these small under cabinet refrigerators simply don't keep drinks cold enough. And the ones that do are usually $2000 or more. Like most people who are in the market for one of these I did a ridiculous amount of research. This was after returning a Magic Chef to Home Depot because it didn't keep things cold enough. Don't make the mistake of buying a wine fridge and thinking it will keep your beer and soft drinks cold enough, it will not. Most wine fridges only get down to the low 40's, which is ok for wine but not cold enough for everything else. You need something that gets down to the low 30's like this Avallon. BTW is also has a huge capacity and looks very high end with quality stainless, glass shelves, and blue or white LED lighting. If you are in the market for one of these you will not be disappointed in this unit.UPDATE: 6 month's later and it's still working great. We get compliments on it every time we have guests over and I'm still impressed by just how much this "little" fridge holds. At any given time we have it stocked with two cases of beer, a case of soft drinks, a dozen sports drinks, a dozen Capri Suns, a dozen Frappuchinos, and I still have room for 5 or 6 large bottles of Pellegrino laying down at the very bottom. Not kidding, it's holds all of that and it still doesn't look crammed. The great unexpected benefit is that by keeping all of our refreshments in this fridge it frees up a ton of room in our main refrigerator so things aren't so crammed in there.UPDATE 2: Three and a half years later and it still looks and works perfectly.
