Where the World Ends

I loved every minute I spent reading this outstanding novel and it is the only novel I have ever reviewed. Some/most of the metaphors blew me away. I am writing my own novel and this is one of those books that almost made me just give up. Instead I let it inspire me. I am sixty+ years of age and I suggest you do not think of it as a young person's novel.

I actually ordered this through Amazon, but never received it and I was refunded. I ended up getting it from the library and reading it before my son because he was in the middle of a book. I found I really liked it myself. It's just a good quick read that is comparable to what has and could happen in other situations...It is based on a real event, but all fiction, but makes it an interesting read.

Another absolute cracker of a story from this master of engaging tales. This is an amazing history of nine men and boys trapped on a rocky stack in the middle of the North Atlantic for the entire winter. It is based on a true story.
