Great book can change your life!!!

I love that Renu Namjoshi presents Vedic Astrology in such relatable, digestible terms. She makes the essence of what seems a complex science available to the layperson - my interest and curiosity are eagerly engaged as I read the book. What a gift that allows me to more easily embrace insights from Jyotish for understanding myself and how I may hone my fullest potential!

This book is a must-have for all seekers on a quest to find their true identity, the real purpose of life and how to embrace both so as to manifest "your best self". Renu skillfully and compassionately guides us to dive deeper into our consciousness to understand the many conflicting aspects of our personality and the deep-seated biases and instincts that drive how we operate in the world. By helping us to objectively analyze ourselves and process our life experiences, Renu leads us to the realization that each of us is on our own, unique "Hero's journey". The situations and people that we encounter are not random accidents but necessary aids to the unfoldment of a much bigger masterplan. I love how the book integrates ancient Vedic wisdom with modern science thereby reinforcing that spirituality and science are but two sides of the same reality. I see myself reading this gem of a book many times over since I'm confident that each reading will reveal new insights not previously obvious.

I had purchased a few astrology books before going into this one blind. This was very different than the others in that the author presented the information through stories, rather than lists of characteristics to memorize by rote. While this book alone will not teach you all the techniques of how to read a horoscope, it is a great companion resource to help place the planets, signs, and houses in context. It also introduced to me the concept of an IVAC (Integrative Vedic Astrology Counselor). The idea is that Astrology can be used as a diagnostic tool and Yoga, Ayurveda, and Mantra can be applied as remedies. I love this concept and am pursuing this path. After reading this book, I discovered the author has a class on teachable in which I am currently enrolled and can also highly recommend.

The book is an incredible insight into our conscious, unconscious and subconscious and how it shapes our experience in life. It reveals ourselves to ourselves, giving a person an immediate access to a fluid understanding of what has otherwised seemed elusive within ourselves. Renu does a splendid and powerful job pulling from numerous methodologies ( Vedic Astrology, Neuroscience, Ayurveda, and Psychology ) to provide counseling that is on point, deep, intuitive, eye opening, through all aspects of emotions, limitations, struggles, and what is hidden from our sight. She gives us the access to write out our Hero's Journey and allow the Hero within to emerge. If you are seeking to be at peace with in, this a must read.

The book has made me deeply aware of my flawed pursuit of scanning my chart for potential bad news, blame and fault, and my near desperate hope to find redemptive, affirming and vindicating hints in the chart.As I make my way through this book, I am now pondering the view that I am being cooked through a multitude of experiences which are rolled out by invitation of the planetary energies through which I may discover what is true and what is illusion.The book is easy to read but the concepts are profound. Highly recommend.

This is the most comprehensive yet simple and relatable book I’ve encountered regarding Vedic astrology and I cherish how Renu threads so much Vedic wisdom in the most relatable ways. This book is truly a gem and I’ve already recommended to several several people! It will be a resource I continue to connect with and draw inspiration from.

It teaches basic knowledge, which would be great if I was a beginner. But I've been studying for years and am trying to find new information. If you're new to astrology you'll probably love it!

The complex wisdom of vedic astrology has beenade accessable. Renu uses the Metapher of the hero's journey to discribe the zodiac, so it's much easier to grasp. By ready and study the book you can learn the fundamentals and its also fun. After reading it I wanted to learn even more because I was so thrilled. Highly recommended!

Astrology is one subject in which every human being has some interest whether or not they admit to it. However, usually, such interest pertains to curiosity about one’s future. This book to my knowledge is unique in looking at Vedic astrology as a tool for self knowledge and spiritual development. And the author has achieved this quite convincingly.

Such a wholesome read. A must for anyone who wants to better understand themselves and the world around them.
