This is Hubby's idea of the perfect glass!
Hubby's idea of a perfect glass is one that is straight-sided, with a heavy bottom so that it is not easy to tip over, sturdy enough that they do not have to be treated as expensive crystal, and embossing or something on the outside that will allow a grip if your hands are wet. This glass meets all of those requirements, and Hubby is delighted. The state of our drinking glasses is abysmal. Every time I go into a brick and mortar store I look at glasses, and have not found anything suitable. I saw these, which were 15 oz, in reality a little more than 12 oz (about a cup and a quarter), if not filled to the brim. Fine. A good size. They are of very heavy glass, the bottoms are more heavy glass and very solid, the sides are straight, and the outside of the glass has a design that facilitates a grip. Wow! I ordered. They were a little pricey, but Hubby is delighted. I did read the reviews posted, and I personally do not care whether I can see a seam if I look closely. My glasses have no bubbles. I am guessing they should not go in the microwave under any circumstances because of the gold rim. I can live with that--I cannot remember ever putting a drinking glass in the microwave, but I know some people drink their hot tea and coffee in glasses. The size is a very good one for any kind of liquid. They are very nice to look at. Hubby really likes them, and so do I. They are sturdy enough that they do not have to be treated like crystal glassware. We are delighted with these glasses, and I have ordered more. My mismatched, mis-sized glasses are going into the donation box, and these will be kept. We are very happy with them, and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone. Also, it is interesting that no country of origin is listed. I did some searching, and found at least one other Tessow glass product that was manufactured in China, but cannot say whether these glasses were. Just guessing, yes.

Modern vintage
I love these glasses! They have a vintage look but are everything modern. Great for wine and coffee alike. Easy to wash too!

A bit pricy, but attractive & good quality.
At (currently) almost $10.00 per glass, I feel these are very overpriced, despite the band of gold around the rim. I also feel that they should come as a set of 4 rather than just a pair. If they kept the current price point & provided 4 glasses, I feel this would be accurately priced. With that said, these are good quality & attractive glasses. Smooth inside makes for easy cleaning.Sturdy bottomed & attractively decorated with embossing & the gold trimmed rim, they make great glasses for cold drinks & will hold a regular 12 oz canned beverage easily, or most of a 16oz bottled beverage.Due to the pricing, I can only mildly recommend. I encourage you to shop around for a better deal.

The pattern on the outside of the glass eliminates the feel of "slippery glass".
I am comfortable with these glasses.Having raised kids, and being a klutz myself, we have gone for years with all plastic glasses and cups. Now that we are of retirement age, I thought it would be nice to get back to glass drinking ware. These are a great start (too bad it only comes in a set of two -- they are nice enough that I would have liked at least 4 or more). The pattern, heft, durability and size are good; the heaviness of the glass lends to the feel of stability versus fragileness. With the pattern on the outside of the glass, the fear of a full glass slipping out of the hand is minimized - there is no feeling of slippery glass. It is textured and therefore easy to handle.I'll have to get used to the gold edge on the lip of the glass (plastic glasses don't ever have gilding!) and hope it's a durable part of the glass and doesn't fade away over time.Only got 4 stars because the price makes them too expensive to gift, and the two-only for the price means it'll take a while to get enough for party use at home.

Sunny Summer Aesthetic for Any Season
These glasses are thick walled and sturdy-feeling, with a nice weight to them. The gilded edge and sunflower motif lends them an elegant whimsy that just begs to be filled with some icy beverage. The glass is thick enough to provide some insulation, which seems to lead to less condensation forming on the outside (which means it's less slippery than the average glass, much appreciated for klutzes like myself). While I will be using mine mainly for serving cold drinks, I think they would work well for a warm (but not boiling hot) cocoa or coffee. As these cups are gilded, make sure to avoid using them in the microwave. As the listing information is ambiguous in regards to cleaning, I'd also suggest hand-washing instead of using the dishwasher as a machine would likely cause the lovely gold rim to scratch and eventually wear off.

New Favorite
I love these glasses. I like how they look, I like how they feel, I like how sturdy they are. I like the size. They present a classy / upscale appearance with the gold rim. The design work on the glass itself is bumpity and feels good to the fingers. It creates a surface that's easy to grip. Doesn't feel like it will slip out of your hand. These have a good sturdy base. Man, the only thing better would have been 4 glasses instead of just 2. I'm an odd bird and I don't drink from plastic. Just cannot stand plastic cups. Gotta have glassware. Just something about the way it feels to me. So I got these new favorite glasses. I use them every day. Not kidding. Every day.

Surprisingly good
I won't say this is equivalent to buying glassware from Tiffany but the glasses are actually really nice and heavy (which is why I just gave it 3 stars for lightweight). You don't want nice glasses to be lightweight. These are appropriately weighted for good cocktail glasses. I also like the pattern on these not just for aesthetic reasons, but when you hold the glass it won't just slip out of your hand. They are easy to clean but must be hand-washed. They would be a nice gift for someone except the packaging looks really cheap so they look like they're going to be bad, which is why I said "surprisingly" good.
