I am new to growing mushrooms and found this Master Mix exactly what a newbie needs. I am currently growing Lion's Mane mushrooms. I added my colonized grain to the master mix 4 days ago. I am already seeing the mycelium growing. In just 4 days! That is awesome!!! Very excited! Can't wait to see how much I will harvest!The product looks like hard wood pellets that go into a smoker. There are no directions. Just sticker that tells you the content and who makes it.If you are using this for growing mushrooms and you need help with what to do. Look up growing mushrooms on YouTube. That is where I got all my information.I will purchase more when I run out. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Added fast fruiting mix in-between my straw layers. Definitely sped up the process by about a week.

Great stuff for growing homegrown mushrooms or making some sawdust spawn for outdoor use. A little on the expensive side, but there is not really any competition in that regard. I can not complain, so far, so good.

I’ve never tried making my own masters mix so I can’t compare to that, but this stuff has provided HUGE lions mane fruits for me. Very satisfied with the purchase.
