Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Good Paperback – 30 July 2010

This was a quickie job, just choosing bits from interviews and articles for the most part. Hastily done and it shows. Pretty, pretty average.

Really good book, had a ton of laughs in it. Probably more entertaining for fans of his, but still humorous all the same!

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von diesem Buch. Der Autor hat alles, was jeder Fan von Larry David, Curb oder Seinfeld sowieso schon weiß (z.B. durch das Bonus-Material auf den Seinfeld-DVDs), aufgeschrieben und wiederholt sich in der ersten Hälfte des Buches ständig, ständig, ständig. In der zweiten Hälfte gibt es zu allen Folgen von Curb eine Zusammenfassung. Wer braucht denn das bitte? Wer Larry liebt kennt alle Staffeln der Serie sowieso auswendig. Warum hat der Autor nicht wenigstens mal selbst ein Interview mit Larry David geführt bevor er denkt er kann ein Buch über ihn schreiben? Ich habe das Buch im Zug gelesen und habe es letztendlich nur aus dem Grund zu Ende gelesen weil ich für die lange Fahrt keine andere Alternative mit hatte. Fans von Larry David erfahren hier keinerlei neue Informationen, man kann sich also sowohl die Zeit als auch das Geld sparen.

this is a very good back ground book which gives the history of how the series came about, with the second half of the book covering each epsiode in the order they are shown. As someone who is almost obessed with CURB i didnt think the book would have been much good for me as i know pretty, pretty, pretty as much as there is to know about the series, i was wrong , some very good background with some very interesting facts, i would recomend this book for the devoted fan or even only the curious one

I have seen all CURB episodes twice. So, I found this book a welcoming informational guide. It was a pleasure to recall episodes as the author gave side notes, opinions and detailed scenes. This for all of us curbside fans and bald brethren.
