This power adapter did not work
I thought I would give this a try for an 8 TB Disk Drive when the power adapter for the drive failed. It was not an OEM replacement. Unfortunately, although it had a good price, but it did not work on the disk drive. Since I have second 8 TB disk drive, I tried it on the other drive and it did not work either. I returned this part back to Amazon for a refund. I know it had 12 Vdc output but I do not know what current it was supplying. I suspect it was lower than the 2 A stated on the unit because I heard a clicking noise coming from the disk drive when it was plugged in to the power adapter.
