Mach5ive Screen Saver- Clear Screen Protector for Resin 3D Printers - Mono X & Mono X 6K - 2 Pack

Bought this for my new Photon Mono X and put it on as soon as I took the printer out of the box. Applying was a little tricky, but not too bad after watching the install video. Should be good protection.

Came very fast and fits perfectly around the screen. Lucky they sent 3 because my first two tries at sticking it down I got a speck of dust and had to start over twice. Advice: peel the backing film off slowly as you press it down or it will magically pull the dirt out of the air and onto the film!! Thanks for the protection!

Great product, packaged well and you get two protectors. Save yourself the heartache of damaging an unprotected screen in the event of fep failure!!

When I received my screen protectors, I was happy to have the protection these sheets offer. I discovered this product via a YouTuber that has a 3D printing channel. He highly recommended these sheets. I opened the package, and took everything out. First thing I did was read the instructions. Step 1 said to contact Mach5ive if there are any issues.Well, I cleaned the screen per the instructions. I used blue painters tape to hold the first edge in place. I peeled the #1 red film just enough to start the application. I peeled #1 red film back while using the squeegee to adhere the protective sheet. Near perfect application until I reached the opposite short edge of the screen.On the left edge, a large bubble appeared and would not be squeezed out no matter what. After trying to fix it, I emailed Mach5ive. I explained what was happening and expressed my unhappiness. Now the protector sheets I received were not the ones reviewed on YouTube. The ones I had, had no holes for the vat feet or mounting bolts.The rep at Mach5ive apologized and explained the sheets with holes were still prototypes. Then he offered to send me the prototype sheets to try and fix the problem. Those sheets arrived today. Again, following the instructions, cleaning the screen and so forth, I began applying. Again I peeled the #1 red film as I went, which I believe reduced static dust and bubbles. When I reached that left side short edge, the same bubble.The rep from Mach5ive and I have been emailing back and forth. He thought of a couple things I didnt. First he asked me to test the screen and see if the bubble was in the printable area, which sadly it was. His other thought was, is the screen proud of the machine surface, or recessed. With everything removed, I took a straight edge and the screen is flush.I took another sheet, and began trying to apply from the other direction. Left to right this time. The protective sheet adhered beautifully onto the screen, except that left short edge. Direction of application did not eliminate the edge bubble. It doesnt seem that these sheets will work for me no matter how much effort.Although this product did not work for me and my machine remains unprotected, which means I am packing it away until something better comes along. The customer service I received was first rate. I cannot fault Mach5ive on their customer service. My first email was answered within an hour on the same day I sent mine to them.

These do their job. But with how technical it is to 3d print. Having anything that disrupts or alters any movements or processes. These would be a lot better if they came with a cut design for different size lcd screens of printers. I don't want to guess when cutting so I applied an entire sheet. It overlaps a lot and I had to re level my build plate. But the annoying thing is it sticks to my few and lifts up after every print. So I have to re work out air bubbles to prevent print quality issues.

These are a lot higher quality screen protectors than others I have used in the past.

Package arrived quickly and was in good condition and that is the best thing I can say. The instruction say that a light adhesive holds the protector on the screen. If that is the case than the two I received didn't have and adhesive on them at all as they both lifted right off when taking the second protective sheet off. The directions were followed exactly and neither protector stuck to the screen. Went to Walmart and bought a cheapo tablet protector and it worked just fine. Will never waste time and money on Mach5 again.

The product is great, but the customer service is out of this world.I got an answer (from a real person not a robot) within minutes of sending them an email, being concerned as to why the screen protector was seemingly too large for my printer's screen. The person on the other end explained that the protector was larger to insure proper protection of the screen in case of a resin spill, and even though it was entirely my fault for misinstalling it, he still offered to send me another set because of a bubble that formed on the extremity of the screen because the adhesive didn't adhere perfectly.Impeccable customer service, I wish more companies were like this.
