uncomfortable and noisy
this stand is very uncomfortable. feels like you are about to slide right out of it. and if you mive the least little bit, it creaks. and the shooting rail is only good if you are shooting directly under the stand.

Not comfortable
WHOEVER INVENTED THIS SEAT DESIGN SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY FIRED! If you like sitting with a bar up your bum then this seat design is for you. You cannot center yourself in this stand. Platform is also narrow and uncomfortable. I own and use multiple 2 man stands , this is by far THE LAST ONE ON THE COMFORT LIST! A retrofit and resign for a seat should be considered!

Dangerous Stand
Almost all of this thing did not fit properly. Some of the holes are drilled too much, some of them too little to the point you might or might not have to drill them out yourself. This thing is death waiting to happen to someone. I HIGHLY advise you to use a safety harness in this if you do become foolish enough to even buy it. The entire design is terrible in terms of how it holds your weight down. You are sitting on horizontal bolts in several places which causes extreme torque on the frame from the bolt head. Most of the parts are only spot welded in place with not finishing welds to secure the parts.I can't stress enough in how unsafe this is. For Muddy to push this blows my mind. There's another Ladder Stand on Amazon called the Big Game Ladder Stand and is a 1 to 1 replica of this trash. Nice and tall but shooting rail is too small
I like the height being a little taller than the normal 15’ stands. But they could make a major improvement with this stand just by increasing the size of the shooting rail out further away from the seat. With it down in position, you can’t even stand up to turn around or turn sideways in the stand it’s so close to the seat. Also makes it difficult having to crouch down so low to pull the rail down over your head into position. Another thing that needs improvement is making the ladder brace support longer. I had it fully extended and still had to go further up the ladder than I would’ve liked to in order for it to reach the tree. This caused some decent bowing in the bottom half of the ladder when climbing up or down and led me to believe over time the fatigue and environment could cause it to fail. So I added on my own 2x4 brace secured with a strong cable tie to one of the ladder rungs on the bottom half as pictured and it’s sturdy now. No it’s not a top of the line ladder stand but those small adjustments by the manufacturer could make it a lot more user friendly.
