Spectre cold air intake
Very nice piece of kit, quality is good and looks great. I'm not sure a metal intake tube is the best thing to use because it gets very hot but at least the car is running much better. I won't be getting any dyno runs so I won't have any power numbers but overall, it works great. Install was somewhat easy even though the instructions were not easy to follow, the pictures were dark and blurry but I was able to figure it out. The intake tube does touch the power steering reservoir and the radiator hose below it but doesn't get in the way. Basically, I didn't want to spend $400.00-$500.00 on a CAI, so this is perfect for me.

Do not buy this kit. It’s a terrible installation. Poor quality.

Worst CAI on the market!
Do not waste your money on this CAI system! First off I purchased a brand new system but received parts that had been put together prior with worn marks where all the washers and bolts go. Second the CAI system claims it dose not require a tune but my 05 Mustang GT would not even stay running with this system in stalled! It through engine codes and ran terrible! I put the stock air box back on and it runs great again! Do not waste your time or money on this product. Spend a little extra money on a quality system like BBK or one of the other better brands! I am extremely disappointed!

Update Info on this I like the product but not the lack of info on it.
I purchased this for my mustang gt 08. The company did not mention that I would need a tuner to remap my computer to make this go fast goodie compatible with my car. I ended up throwing it away because the threads broke off.

Good cold air intake
Honestly the quality is a lot better then I thought it would be. The welds aren’t gorgeous but they are solid. The instructions were hard to read but it’s easy to figure out how it goes together. I would buy it again. NO TUNE required 👍🏼

Easy to install if you are mechanicaly inclined w/basic tools
It came really quick , it was all new stuff, decent shape for the price and free shipping, fairly easy to install, if you read instructions carefully, makes a huge difference in acceleration sound and deepens the engine growl. No engine fault codes either...so far so good!

Sensor not compatible
the mustang 2005-2009 sensor is not compatible with this air intake. the engine keeps missing. when i put back my stock airbox, car was fine again. Also the filter itself does not sit well with the provided air intake pipe and keeps falling off no matter how tight you fix it.

One of the main bolts broke right away just under the weight of the filter - nothing lines up properly. Kicking myself for cheating out instead of going with a better known brand. Just wasted hours of my life trying to install this junk and now have to send back. After waiting multiple weeks for delivery. Stay away.
