This is probably as close as you can get to what you need. It can't straighten your spine or take off 20 pounds of gut so it can't eliminate all the back pain but it does relieve some and provides good support while you're doing strenuous activity. It's also not uncomfortable but obviously not as comfortable as you would be without it. I would also suggest strongly that you get the right size by measuring around the area where you intend to place the brace and adding an inch. It needs to be snug to be effective but not so snug you have trouble breathing naturally.

I bought this back support because it had a wonderful video demonstrating how to put it on and then showing that it doesn't slip when lifting a laundry basket. I am quite small but Medium was the smallest size. I ended up giving it to my sister who has back issues and ordering another one for myself. The medium fit both of us, even though she is somewhat larger than I am.

I have multiple bulging disc's and a desk job that makes like unbearable. Using this brace has made it possible to complete my workweek almost pain free!

I like that it is easy to put on, it is comfortable, and it does not bind. It braces my back enough that I feel better while I am using and for quite a bit of time after I take it off. I would recommend it to anyone needing back support.

The product is better then i thought it would be. Support and pain relief is great. Im findibg it rolls up in the back abit, so I need to adjust periodicly.Over all very happy with it, good value for the price. I may order another.Thank you.

It's a back brace, alright. Good support for bending down with back pain, it mitigates most of the pain. Those are my upsides. My downsides are, if you have it on too tight you can hardly breathe, and if you have it on too loose, it doesn't do it's intended job as well as it should. You really have to carefully find the good medium, and that varies immensely between body types.Overall, it's a good buy. I would recommend it to friends and family.
