Im not a therapists, but I sure want to understand the dynamics of improving couple problems for everyone cause it sucks to be so in the dark . this book is excellent , so respectful of hurt and angry parts of the individuals in couples, applicable to all types of couples. advice on intervening when necessary and guiding the couple to solve difficult problems. This is a good product, but the Audiobook has a lot missing compared to the hard copy version. Pages 26 to 58 are missing from the audiobook.

日本ではまだまだ紹介されていない内的家族システム療法ですが、それのカップルセラピーバージョンです。カップルの関係性、あるいはセラピストを含めた三者の関係性を、それぞれのパーツ（マネジャー、ファイヤーファイター、エグザエル）&セルフの相互作用の視点から詳しく説明してくれており、関係性というものについて深い理解をもたらしてくれます。3人でやっていますが、実際は集団精神療法をやっている感じですね。目新しい点は、ポリヴェーガル理論を取り入れているところです。翻訳を通して日本にも内的家族システム療法が詳しく紹介されればいいのにとずっと思っていますが、まだ時間はかかりそうな気がします。はるちゃんのおにぎり先生（←浅井先生）あたりが翻訳していただけるとありがたいのですが。
