I grabbed this solar motion light for our dark side yard, and honestly, it’s a total win. The installation was a breeze—zero wiring needed; I just screwed it into the fence in about five minutes. It charges completely via sunlight during the day, which means zero extra cost on the electricity bill. It works exactly as advertised: the motion sensor is super sensitive. The light instantly blasts on when my dog wanders past or if I come home late, providing a bright, wide beam that covers a huge area. It makes me feel a lot safer having that unexpected dark spot illuminated immediately. The light itself is impressively bright for a solar unit. It doesn't stay on for a long time, just a quick minute after motion stops, but that’s all I need. It’s reliable, surprisingly durable against the weather, and effectively brightens up those sketchy areas around the house without any fuss. Great little security upgrade!

I have been pleasantly surprised by this little light. I saw the size and was skeptical it would do the job. It did and more. It is very bright and the beam extends farther than I thought covering a really dark area of my front yard. It was easy to install on the side of our house with the included hardware. The motion sensor is very accurate and also extends beyond what I thought it would it actually senses all the way out to the farthest spot the beam lights up. I've marked the distance the motion sensor activated from with a red x. This was a great purchase helps with taking my dogs out in the dark ,which will be 5pm soon enough, gives me peace of mind I can see where they are at all times. We didn't use adhesive it wouldn't have stuck to the house or stayed in the weather. We haven't had any issues with it breaking in the weather or coming off it is very durable. Great value for the money and your safety .

4 stars only because I wanted to mount it 'under' my 12" overhang on the house, as high up as possible (so bad guys cant get to it), but it has limitations on mounting height as you need to have sun access to solar panel. Being the handy-man I am (not bragging), I made a very simple bracket to hold it 10" away from the wall and then the solar panel could be adjusted perfectly. Otherwise, these lights work great. It rains a lot in my state, and no worries. Also, I love the constant-on dim lighting, and when you get anywhere near it..... bam, spot light. Makes my wife feel more safe if it's her turn to take out the trash on the dark side of the house.

These have worked well for over a year despite the weather in Seattle, and provide sufficient light for the sidewalk area which I wanted to have illuminated. Unfortunately two of them were stolen, but as the bases have remained the same I have been able to screw in the replacements without any effort.

I was surprised as to what this light does. I put it above my garage door mainly to have it turn on at night to alert anyone sneaking around my cars parked in my driveway. It does that and something else I didn't expect...it stays on with a dim light AND a small BLINKING RED LIGHT all night as well! It gives the impression something might be recording that I think would also alert would be sinister peeps! AND I like that it always lights up when I pull my car in at night.

I set the product in direct sunlight for 3 days (I live in CA) and then I mounted it on my fence which also resides in direct CA sunlight and turned it on for the first time. It worked great for a couple weeks. Then the sensor stopped working and it was turning the light on bright when there was no motion. As soon as the bright light would turn off, it would immediately turn on again. This was draining the battery very fast. I figured out it was doing this when the light would come on at approximately sundown 8PM and realized the light was off by midnight. The next day I turned the device on and off several times using the button on the back of the solar cell. Now the bright mode is not activated by motion whatsoever. Powered it on and off again, 7-8 more hours of direct sunlight, still no dice. We had one day of light rain in the middle of our 90+ degree heat spell and I think that caused it to malfunction. The seller includes a pamphlet stating to contact them if you have any problems at the following email address: [email protected] At first glance I thought it was a phone number but its a digit short. I sent an email to the above address and the email was undeliverable! For forty bucks I expect better than this. I'm calling Amazon for a refund. Buyer beware.

Looked like well made security light. However, it only adjusts at certain angles as you have to keep solar panels in proper position. Not 1400 lumens as advertised, I took a 300 lumen flashlight and compared to high beam, which was equal. The motion sensor range on both received is terrible! I have other brands which activate with a direct approach and range advertised. Not these! Installed next to front window. Set on low, then bright when sensor picks up movement. Mounted 8ft off ground, with center of sensor angled 15ft at driveway. With both mounted to sense if someone approached open windows at night, these failed the security test badly. I can walk in a straight line up to the sensor, stand under where it is mounted, reach up and fiddle with window. Light never senses straight line of sight movement. Only activates when I back away 5ft and move side to side at angle to light. Only other time they come on is on an angled approach, no more than 6ft from where lights are mounted with clear line of sight. Sensors on both do nothing on straight on approach. Defeats security if I can walk straight up to window with light mounted near window and never triggers. Need sensors as advertised 15ft away, not 6ft and sensors to pickup and trigger on straight on approach. Build quality good but sensors do not work as advertised. Purchased another brand and style for less money, also with replaceable battery. They are bright and have front and side sensor range as advertised. Only reason for these is they resemble security cameras.

Very Bright but.... These lights seem to be great quality when you take them out of the box. Everything is included instruction wise and the install goes very smooth. I bought them to add to a business for additional security like where there was no power. I was extremely pleased with how bright they were and how I could articulate them two point in the needed Direction Etc I bought 4 in total. That's about everything good I can say about them. It rained about a month after I installed them and one of them stopped working instantly. About a week later a second one stopped working and it rained again a few weeks after that. I know only have one that works out of the four. Obviously being solar these are outdoor lights and so should hold up to sunlight California rain but unfortunately they did not. Have they lasted I would definitely give them a 5-star review because they are much brighter than any of the other brands I've tried. Update: I guess shame in me for not contacting the seller first because I guess I'm use to no response so I didn't want to waste my time. That being said the seller obviously saw my review and Contacted myself. They stand behind their products quality and seem confident that replacement units would not fail me. They addressed my concern fairly and with apologies with every effort to rectify the problem immediately. I am extremely eased with their customer service and willing to give them another shot for sure so am raising my review to a 5 Star based on them standing behind their product and actually taking the time and effort to rectify the problem without me having to reach out to them even though I should have.
