Good quality peel for smaller pizza ovens.
This peel is smaller than I thought it would be but the dimensions are listed clearly on the website. I just didn’t pay attention so that’s my bad.With that being said this peel is perfect for smaller pizza ovens. I have access to a large pizza oven and this one is just too small but for the average pizza oven I think this peel is perfect. Especially for those portable pizza ovens that are popular now. This peel will work awesome for those.The handle is made of metal which is key. The grip is made of two pieces of a plastic-like material. One piece is firmly attached to the end of the handle and the other half slides along the handle so that you can grab the pizza and pull the handle from the end and keep your other hand firmly planted. This is a clever design.I’m bummed that it’s a little too small for the big pizza oven. But for most people at 30 inches long this thing will work just fine.The handles screw together with a fine machine screw thread so be careful not to strip the handles when assembling it. I recommend putting a couple drops of thread locker on the threads during assembly. Overall it’s a good pizza peel and I do recommend it.
