I didn’t know what to expect with this product, but I’ve been quite happy with using it as a primer. I am quite fair and I was a little concerned if it would be too colorful, but it worked well for my skin tone and gave me a bit of a glow.

This primer really exceeded my expectations! I’ve noticed that PF products can be a little hit or miss. Some products look amazing and others are terrible. I was skeptical about this one but it looks and feels amazing!! It’s very hydrating and dewy without being overly wet, you know? It also seems to help with discoloration, kind of helps neutralize and blend everything. Obviously some days more color correction is needed but on more natural days this is enough. I’m already on my second bottle!

Have had this for over a year, used it on and off as primer. Never broke me out, have me nice sheen under my makeup and the smell isn't bad. Not revolutionary, but it is much better than the MAC strobe cream in that it performs much better as a primer to keep makeup on and gives more glow.

Beautiful blending with this product. Mix a small amount with your usual foundation. It glides on easily and looks like a BB cream without paying a small fortune. Not for use if you have oily skin though. (Just my opinion) 😊

I'm in-between on this, it does give reflecting properties to enhance the brightness of my face, however as a primer I'm not sold. On its own, it's alright, however it offers no base. It's on the greasy side and as soon as humidity or warmth sets in it's melting off. So again on its own, yes, as a primer no. For the price vs size it should do both claims.

This is my Favorite Primer I have found! It leaves my face smooth and flawless! It's light and refreshing!

I’m not someone who wears heavy foundation. My go to’s are usually Glossier’s Skin Tint, Bare Mineral’s Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizer, and Mac’s Face & Body (this is as heavy as I’ll go). I was a diehard fan of Becca’s Backlight Primer because the glow always helps mask imperfections when I used it with any of the above. When I heard that this PF primer was a great dupe for Becca’s Backlight primer, I was sold. When I first received this I thought it was too glittery. Becca’s primer has more of a pearlized effect, not at all glittery. So many people raved about this primer dupe that I was convinced I had just received a bad bottle. I was just about to give up on it when I decided to shake the primer up well and pump out a bit until I was sure it was the shaken product that was coming out. Long and behold, it worked! I don’t know why those first few pumps were glittery, but shaking it really helped. I’m still convinced that first bottle was indeed from a bad batch because I’ve never had that problem again. The second bottle I purchased pumped out that heavenly pearlized goodness without shaking it. I’m on my 4th bottle now (I know, I know), and the problem has not repeated itself. This mixes well with all my foundations/skin tints. I even put some into my moisturizer for my no-makeup days; it makes your skin glow!

Omg I love this. I have not yet used the elf primer but if this is what putty primers are like, I'm sold. I have combo skin that leans towards dry rather than oily and my makeup went on so smooth after applying this primer. The best part is it does not feel heavy in the least. I didn't moisturize prior to applying this because I heard a lot of people say its super hydrating and I agree. Go in with a bare face no moisturizer, and use this then followup with your regular makeup routine. My makeup looks pretty good after 5 to 6 hours or so and usually it starts to fade quite a bit at this point. Also I gotta add, I love the butter bronzer smell and this does have that scent but it fades soon after you apply it. It did fill in my pores a bit (not a lot) but mostly just created a smooth canvas and kept my makeup on longer than usual. I am seriously obsessed.

Two pumps and can do face & neck very bright at first then looks brilliant. Really impressed don’t need to add much more than bronzer and done, really impressed. Love their bronzer too. Great US brand will be exploring range after great first impression.
