This works!
This product worked better than anything I have ever used. Here in Hawaii we all have water with a higher organic content.Though it is lightly chlorinated algae grows quickly so toilet tanks get Green looking and you can't use bleach in there it ruins the mechanisms. This tank cleaner did a fantastic job, getting the tank back to the natural color. It would be great if they actually put the porcelain glaze on the inside of the tank, then it would always be easy to clean and stay white! But to save $ they leave it unglazed, and its pourous and absorbes stains forcing us to resort to ways to keep it from looking and smelling disgusting. The 1 st time you do this, you will need 1 bottle per tank, and leave it over night. Then use a long handled glass cleaning brush to scrub down the sides of tank then flush. If the toilet still looks bad, do it again. $14 is still cheaper than a new tank!. After that do it once a year and it will keep it really clean. I was able to use 1/2 bottle in each tank for the annual maintenance. Our toilets were less than 10 years old, better quality tall elongated so if you have really old toilets, for $100 you can replace them with nice new ones from Home Depot. Great productC

This stuff works. It fixed a slow-flush problem.
This stuff worked great for me. I had a slow-flushing 10-year old 1.2 GPF toilet that sometimes required multiple flushes even for liquid waste only. I added about half of the bottle of this to the full tank and also added a little bit to the standing water in the bowl. I stirred both locations with a wooden paint stirrer and let it sit for about 24 hours. Then I inspected the tank and observed that the brown mineral buildup that was in there previously was now almost completely gone. I also got an old toothbrush and some rubber gloves and cleaned out the remaining mineral buildup in the siphon jet hole. There was a lot of crumbly loose gunk that was removed rather easily. I then flushed the toilet and it was performing like it was new again, with no multiple flushes required. It has been working perfectly for a couple of weeks now with liquid or solid waste. Highly recommended!

Work smarter, not harder!!
Update:I honestly forgot all about this product until I was cleaning out under the sink and found the second bottle I had. Which then quickly had me check the tanks to see them getting gross again so I made sure to get pictures this go around. This powder honestly had my tanks clean within like 15 minutes and all I did was dump it. If I wanted my tanks 100% clean I'd have to hand scrub along the water line but I'm not that extra. But I've attached the before and after pictures.Let me set the scene. One day, I wake up to use the restroom and notice the water is slightly brown and has something in it that looks like coffee grounds. My first thought is what the heck? Why would my husband dump coffee grounds down the toilet but he hasn't drank any in a long while, and I don't at all, so that stopped that theory.I flush whatever it is and think that's that.Wrong! This time the water is even darker so now I'm investigating. Our towns local page didn't post about any water issues so it's gotta be a me problem. Water in the sink runs clear so it's a toilet issue so that's when I looked in the tank and was greeted by black slush like mineral build-up.Yes, I also realize I should have just checked the tank first but adhd.Anyways, so since the toilet is next to the shower and we have a shower head with a hose, I decide to try and rinse it since it came off the sides of the tank when I touched it.Well, water alone didn't cut it so being the busy mom I am I let it fill back up with water and dump bleach in there. Didn't do a whole bunch even after sitting for hours so moving on to the next thing. This time I tried oxy and again letting it sit. After a few hours the bottom of the tank was clean but the sides still had residue on them and I didnt feel like scrubbing them.A quick Google search led me here and I figured why not. After all, my goal was to just dump something in and having it cleaned with chemicals vs me spending 10 minute cleaning it myself.Read the instructions and you use half a bottle and let it sit overnight. We'll, I really wish I would have gotten a before picture because this thing cleaned the whole thing and I didnt have to lift a finger. I didn't even have to wait all night, for me, it cleaned it within an hour. The only thing that's still dirty is the faint line of where the water ends. That will take 30 seconds to wipe down though since I can just take a cloth and run it along the edge, if I even want to do that.We have 2 toilets and I did the same thing with the other toilet as well and it is clean as well. That one didn't get any chemicals to try cleaning it since I wasn't going to waste product on 2 toilets if it wasn't working. But yeah, 100% recommend if you have hard water and aren't using a water softener because it's an iron and other minerals that built up.As a busy mom, I never even thought to clean my water tanks as well. Especially since I've never had to do it at my other houses. But glad I found this product and it did what I needed it to do.

The product works, but..
The way its packaged is completely inadequate considering how rancid it is. This product contains something like muriatic acid that has an unholy noxious stench. They have it packaged in a plastic bottle like you might buy vitamins or something in and that's inside a zip-loc style baggie that is not air-tight. This stuff is so loud. Make sure you use it immediately and use all of it. The day after it arrived, when i got home from work my whole house smelled like this stuff and i hadn't even opened it yet. Christ almighty! Even trace amounts of this stuff leftover is plenty enough to stink your whole house up after you use this. Dispose of the packages in an external waste bin or something.I have no idea if this will clean your toilet or not, but it will remove corrosion and mineral deposits from your copper waterblock, radiator, fittings, etc. without damaging the copper. If you follow the instructions loosely. I left the metal parts soaking in about a gallon of distilled water with half of this bottle. It smelled a lot worse than it did before i opened it, if i need to say that. Do it outside. It reeks.

Buy This!! Gets rid of “sinky” smell!
Absolutely Amazing!!! Does EVERYTHING it says it does. Only takes half a bottle to leave your tank looking brand new! One of the bathrooms in my house had this very outside-wet-canal smell because of the toilet tank. It had been like that since I bought the house. Nothing I tried work to make the bathroom smell fresh…Until This!! Yes and yes. Buy it. The tank is completely clean now and guess what, freshness all the time.
