They don't break
I was on a golf trip in Virginia and the cart had 3 of them in it every day. I always used wood but lately they were breaking after teeing off once or twice. The 9 Tees I got on the trip lasted me 3 years ( I play 3 times per week) I never broke one but eventually they all "escaped" They sometimes fly off after hitting the ball and I was unable to find them.

Tees are tough
These tees are pretty rugged. Their bright green color makes it easy to find. The hard plastic tees are still flexible and are difficult to break.
