The video on Playhut's website doesn't show how to work the straps.** A: The velcro straps are used to close the tunnel. I was hoping it would be able to connect to a tent but I haven't found one that it will connect to. **Q: why is the age limit so old...from the reviews many people have younger children than the 3 years recommended. What would be the danger for an 18month** A: I bought it for when my son was 8 months old to encourage crawling. He was very hesitant at first but, eventually crawled inside after a toy. Now at 11 months old, he regularly takes turns crawling through with the dog. I put it away when he is done playing with it and supervise him while he is playing with it. They get so giddy on the mornings they come out and this tunnel is up. They crawl through it casually, use it as a fort, play chase, peek a boo, roll around... It's great! I love that they get excited to see it. I love that it's easy to put away and get out and I especially love how small it is when it's folded up. This is probably one of our favorite toys and it's held up well too!Update: We've owned this for two years. My daughters still love to pull it out every few weeks. They roll around, crawl through and toss this thing and it's held up well.
