| Assembly Instructions Description | To install the recliner replacement parts, you will need a cross-point screwdriver and needle-nose pliers. Follow these steps: 1. Extend the footrest to relieve tension on the release handle, pull the release lever to access the 2 screws. 2. Remove screws, gently pull/pry the broken handle assembly out. Notice exactly which hole the cable connects to. 3. Pinch the bracket where the cable is mounted and remove the cable. 4. Replace with the new one in reverse of these directions and voila your back in business. |

Up and Working!
We'd recommend this product. We have an older model steel flex sofa and love seat and the recliner part broke. These come in sets of 2 so, we ordered 2 sets. All 4 assembly items were correct and in great quality. It's just hard plastic, wire cable and a couple of screws for the outside to assemble it into your furniture item. Fairly easy to assemble. Price is good. They came in Black, not sure if there's any other color they come in but, no issues from ordering, receiving at home to assembly. They're all working well and we're back to kicking up our feet and relaxing again.

Awesome product! Bought this to replace a broken one on my couch and it works perfectly, just like the original. Be sure to measure the length of the cable to make sure you purchase one with the length you need. Very easy to replace, it honestly took longer to lean the couch back and bend my old self down to work on it, than it actually did to replace it.

Perfect Drop-In Replacement!
Perfect drop-in replacement for my Ashley sofa. Took less than 10 minutes to swap out. Something to note - this came WITH a replacement cable as well, which was not needed - I used the existing cable - but it's nice to know that I have that option should I need it in the future.
