Brentwood JC-500 2-Speed 700w Juice Extractor with Graduated Jar, Stainless Steel

Thanks for the review from previous buyer. I was looking for a Juicer for quite a while and couldn't decide which one to buy an expensive one or a cheaper one. It happened I go on search at Amazon to find this product on sale at $24.99 and I look into the buyers' review, the comments are quite good with this brand. So I immediately purchase it, with this price I thought even not good just give it a try. On the date the Juicer arrived, my Mom was with me, she had 3 different Juicers at home very expensive professional one to a small handy one. When she saw the Brentwood JC500 she immediately give it a try after cleaning. She said this one is the best comparing to what she had. Its easy to assembly easy, easy to clean and with strong power, the noise is acceptable not to loud. So I want to put down the review so that anyone who are interested with this one, this is worth buying.

I love this juicer. Being a novice at juicing, I wanted something that would be easy to use, yet give me a good quality of juice. This Brentwood model certainly offers it. Super easy to put together, not too much trouble cleaning it, even the strainer is pretty easy to clean up. It is also of medium size, so not taking up too much space on the counter. I love the black/silver finish as well, matches all my other kitchen appliances. Good quality, and certainly excellent price.

This product works ok. It works on certain vegetables (kale, spinach, celery) better than other (Apple, pineapple).The peeve I have with this is, sometimes it misses some of the vegetable/ fruits, when I am discarding the fibrous chunk I see certain things it missed in there.Also, I never look forward to the clean up, especially cleaning the sieve that helps seperate the juice and the shafts

It was ok, I was excited at first. Requires too many veggies for small amount of juice. Aggravating to have to clean and rinse pulp off after every veggie, it will not work otherwise. Too much work and mess, too little juice. I returned. Will try masticated more expensive model next. This one great for less inpatient beginners.

I would give 5 stars for this machine because it really chomps up and juices those veggies really well. Compared to other high priced juicers, this is a great kitchen appliance for the price.I am only giving 4 stars though because shortly after I started using it the pitcher that collects the juice broke quickly during a cleaning. The lid does not stay on properly now.Fast, quick, a little noisy.Lemongrass? no problem. Carrots? eats em up. Ginger? gobble gobble. Just make sure you chop it up slightly as with any juicer when you are dealing with root veggies and fruits.Clean up is not difficult. It is like most juicers that have a fine chopper in them. It is easy to rinse off, scrub a little on the grating and it will come off quickly. I use a baggie in the back so I can easily discard the pulp. It does spit pulp out of the back though. I realized that quickly after the first time so you may want to have a good splash guard behind it or something that can be cleaned quickly and easily.Overall, it is great and

I have used a few different brands of juicers in the past, and the Brentwood did not disappoint me at all. I was impressed by the 800 watts of power, and two speed settings, as well as the sturdy construction. I like the pitcher that collects the juice, more so than the one that comes with the higher end Breville. It fits well under the spout, and does have the divider to prevent foamy juice when poured into a glass. The pulp catcher fits securely, and does not allow any stray pulp to escape from around the top edges. It is not as loud as other juicers I have used either. It has a nice wide mouth, so prep time is low. Clean up time was also a breeze with this Brentwood. The con? The pulp is a bit wetter than a Breville would have it, but not as wet as other juicers I have tried; it is not so bad as to deduct a star though. I have no problem recommending this product; it was a great buy.****A couple tips for new juicer's: Buy a Denture Toothbrush from the dollar store(or Amazon) as it is the prefect clean up tool for the mesh basket; it will cut your cleanup time way down, and works far better than other brushes.In the instructions it states to turn your juicer on for ten seconds before adding your veggies; this is a good recommendation.Organic veg. and fruits can be costly, but pesticides are of concern on regular harvests. I suggest you soak your veggies in water with a bit of salt and vinegar for about 15 minutes before juicing(you can pre-clean future batches at the same time).

So we finally received this item because our old one finally gave out after 12 years it was some macys brand so it comes in and I chopped some carrots into small pieces and started to feed it at a slow pace so I don't stress the juicer out and within first 25 seconds of juicing it goes out if u unplug and plug back in it will turn on for couple seconds and turn back off trust me don't buy this I just went to my local gnc and bought the lower wattage one and it juiced with no trouble

I juice very frequently. This is an amazing beginning juicer. Ultimately I'd love to have an Angel, but I decided to start out with this since I don't have $1,500 to spend on a juicer. All the pulp does come out wetter than I would prefer, but I have used this daily for almost a year now and it still works just as well as the day I got it. I bought a small vegetable brush for a couple dollars that I keep with the juicer and I use that to clean out the metal insert with the strainer and Blades and it makes the clean up so easy and quick.

This juicer has a 2 speed control knob, Includes a 34oz jar with a lid and foam separator. Dishwasher safe removable parts, the juicer is really quite, I was surprised at how little noise it makes. Excellent for healthy living, I am consuming so much more fruit now because of this and the juice is always so good!

My 2 year old loves to help out making juice.Cons:You have to cut fruit really into small pieces otherwise a lot of fruit would be wasted.Its a lot of work making juice for everyone in the family.Overall, its good for occasional usage.
