Author’s Very Personal Take on the Tarot
I’ve been reading tarot books for decades, but I don’t think I’ve read any quite like this before. I’m not sure why the author calls it “Tarot as You Flow,” but the book provides a glimpse of her very personal take on the tarot. That’s my favorite kind of nonfiction to read: one person’s take on a subject about which he or she has great personal interest and experience. The book starts with her favorite takes on a simple 3-card spread before detailing her thoughts on the cards themselves. For each card of the major and minor arcana, she provides her takes on the upright and reversed positions. Some will be quite familiar, usually similar to meanings seen in the LWBs that come with card decks. But she also has a few lines that differ from the norm; I found these “indications” (as the author calls them) offered other ways into the cards, providing shades of meaning, which is a lot of fun. The book ends with a few tips and charts. All and all, I enjoyed this short book, as I do enjoy nonfiction that stems from the author’s experience and expertise.I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Great Resource
I've been looking for a supplement to the one I received with my tarot cards and this is just what I was looking for. My first reading with this resource in hand was so much more meaningful and intuitive. I love the helpful points and hints Lowella provides, but most of all I like the reverse meanings she provides for each card which gives much more depth to my readings.

Neat and details
It is different from some books i bought about learning tarot. I find this works well for me. Upright and Reverse are on separated pages. They dont cramp up together or forever running until the last page. Colum for me to write my notes, feelings, readings, additions from the brief meanings they gave. It is writing paper, not glossy printing paper, easy to write on. I write with Pilot Juice pens which is not heavy ink flow and fast drying, so far no bleeding into the other side or next page.
