Review: Fantastic large Hard Drive for a great price !!! - Replaced my 2 TB hard drive in my Eufy NVR system with six combo PTZ and fixed S4 max cameras. This 16 TB hard drive was very easy to replace fit right in with four little screws and then plugged in the data and power cable. Had the NVR all hooked up with the ethernets, lan and power and ready to go in about 15 minutes. The 16 TB drive went through its formatting in a couple of minutes and then was fully up and running recording all motion video from all six cameras, very seamless. It is a touch louder than the Western Digital 2 TB drive that came with the system, but not unacceptable. All-in-all a nice large drive made exactly for this NVR system with AI and 512 MB cache and 6Gb/s transfer rate, for a very good price. Highly recommend !!!
Review: Very solid hard drives. - I had picked up a new u green Nas device and I was needing some hard drives I saw these on desertcart so I purchased them because they met the specs I was needing. I will say that they were packaged very well and I received them on time. I removed them other anti-static bag they feel very solid. This hard drive was compatible and mounted with ease in my Nas device. These are solid upgrades if you needed to upgrade your hard drive to a larger hard drive. These formatted with no issues in my new green Nas. I paid $430 for each and I bought two so they are great value for the money. I'm glad I bought them when I did though they're about $720 now a piece. These are solid hard drives and I would recommend anybody who needed some to buy them these are great for surveillance cameras and Nas devices or servers

Purchased this 12TB Seagate SkyHawk AI drive for use in a network video recorder, and it has been an excellent choice for surveillance storage. The drive was recognized properly by the NVR and has handled continuous recording without any problems. The 12TB capacity provides substantial recording retention, especially when working with multiple high-resolution IP cameras. For a surveillance system that is recording 24/7, I prefer using a purpose-built surveillance drive rather than a standard desktop hard drive. Performance has been reliable, operation is quiet, and it has handled simultaneous recording and playback as expected. The additional capacity also provides much more flexibility when configuring retention periods and higher-resolution recording. A great choice for expanding a professional NVR or security camera system where reliability and storage capacity are important.
