This winch is super!

no wireless remote
received this winch and my decision to buy this one is not good. we want quality but a lot of these companies play games with their marketing. I was looking at the synthetic rope one which had a winch with wired and wireless remote. So I looked at the steel cable one and the difference was only a couple dollars. I said to myself I would rather have steel cable. Well the steel cable one doesnt come with wireless remote. Pretty upset about that. I cant justify to return this heavy thing so I have to bite the bullet and order wireless romote for additional $150. This is why Chiniese comeptitors are more successful in selling they dont skimp on little things like that. I will update this review after i used it for a while.

Great USA quality
Great winch I bought to replace my smittybilt because I wanted a wireless remote. I'm using it for an enclosed car hauler winch. For it to be rated 5 stars it would need a 25-30' remote cord just in case the wireless fails. I called Westin (who makes superwinch regarding a longer corded remote....only option was to butcher 2 remotes and daisy chain..........come on guys offer a 30' corded remote and you'll sell a ton of them! Would of rated it 5 stars if this was an option....very easy to install, great looking and high quality...got it for $550
