We use this on so many things its kinda silly
Turkish: You take sugar?Brick Top: No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough. My criteria for a rub was simple. Needed to taste good and needed to be sugar free. For many reason's I've been cutting sugar and sweetners out of my life where I can, and its astonishing how many rubs, seasonings, sauces and dressings have it.Now when it comes to bbq, understandably sugar (brown, white, molasses, or honey) equals caramelization. So smoking low and slow and some sugar in your rub will help form a bark/crust. However, sugar in rubs aren't good over direct head, as the sugar will just burn in those instances. The versatility is awesome. In certain instances where I felt recipe needed sugar, I just added brown sugar to this rub and its worked out just fine. If I need some heat, add some cayanne pepper to it, and boom you got a hot dry rub.I bought this mainly for pork (butts, ribs, and chops) But have found myself using it on almost everything that touches our smoker. I've incorporated it into marinades and injections as well. One thing that its been exeptional at is wings. We toss wings in this as a dry rub and add a little cayanne pepper to our liking and its easily the best dry rub smoked wings I've ever had. No sauce even needed. Now the kicker. This is hands down one of the most affordable rubs on the market. At the time of this review, I'm able to get the 2 pack at .65 cents an ounce, which is by far one of the cheapest rubs/seasonings out there. Most other sugar free rubs are double the price per ounce or more.

Very Good Product
This product adds great flavor to pork, chicken and beef products. It's not messy like a lot of liquid marinades.

This product rocks!!
I smoke pork shoulders once or twice a month and only use this as my rub. I dont use binders or anything. I rub this on 24 hours in advance and just smoke the shoulders low and slow (18 hours) I've gotten so many compliments for my smoked shoulders and I tell everyone about this. Going forward I will only be using this for my pork shoulders.
