Exclusive Final Fantasy XIII-2 w/ Collectible Poster PS3

I still remember playing the original, 8-bit Final Fantasy, where you had to press a button on your controller to open doors or use ladders and stairs. The graphics were adequate for the time and were improved a good bit when the 16-bit games were released. Those early characters became iconic and are now seeing life on iOS.This is the first FF game I've played since FF VII and it is amazing how far the graphics and gameplay have come since then. I'm playing on PS3 and am blown away by the realism of the characters -- even the hair looks great!Most of the soundtrack will have a familiar feel to fans of the series, but the music has evolved too. I did play in one setting where the music grated on my nerves, but otherwise it seems to fit the game well. Although many of the "tracks," such as the battle theme, are heard many times during a few hour session, I like it and don't find it repetitive.In this game you'll find yourself traveling through time, leveling up character classes, collecting allies that can be leveled up too, and creating parties that can be changed frequently during battles to suit your offensive or defensive needs. Although the battle system seems complicated at first, I quickly got used to it. Most of the battles in the game are not challenging if you realize you need to go into the menu to use CP earned to level up the multiple classes each of the main characters. Because you can develop the classes for your characters to suit your playing preferences, characters do not automatically level up just because a specific amount of experience has been earned.Although you will be traveling to many different times and locations, most of the story's challenges are easy enough to figure out. It can be a bit confusing at some points to figure out which location and time to travel to next. A game guide can be really handy at these times. I don't expect to get achieve 100% completion, and suspect it would be extremely time-intensive, if not impossible, without the help of a thorough guide book.I haven't reached the ending yet, but from what I've read, a lot of players were disappointed by it. I'm enjoying this so much that I've already pre-ordered FF XIII-3 and the deluxe Piggyback game guide.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO FANS OF JRPGs, especially the FINAL FANTASY SERIES and the CHRONO TRIGGER and CHRONO CROSS games.

No poster included, but it is still in its original packaging, which is awesome considering it’s definitely not a new game on the market. If the seller had just said that I would be pleased with the purchase anyway. I would like the poster now that it has been said that it would be with the game however. Not cool to say that would be included and not include it. Lol
