Nice wood and well constructed except for the hinges. The hinge screws are too small to take the stress placed on them by the design and after only a few weeks pulled out of the relatively soft wood. Disappointing; I'll probably replace them with an accordion hinge from the hardware store.

This would worked perfect if I would have measured correctly. Unfortunately it is not quite high enough so when I adjust it it leaves a gap where the hinge is. I'm afraid our guinea pigs will get their claws pinched in it.

It literally snapped in half while my Guinea pig was walking on it

This is not good for Guinea Pigs. Guinea Pigs need railings or they will fall off it and hurt themselves. If you buy this for them, have a plan to add railings by gluing on railings.

It was a little larger than I thought it would be but works ok for the playpen area

No assembly required. It’s very light, and the Guinea pigs will topple it sideways. I ended up removing it due to it having so many splinters where it had been chewed, it would be not safe for our pets.

My Guinea pigs chewed the dowels and when a few were missing pointy sharp staples stuck out they could have choked or stepped on them and injured their delicate feet and a big vet bill.You should start making Guinea pig stuff safe I thought paying over$30 would buy a safe bridge lf l would of known staples were used l wouldn’t of bought it.It didn’t show on underside. It could have been glued with safe glue. I will make my own next time.I’m so glad they didn’t get injured
