We bought this for our son who is 6 weeks old. He sleeps in the fleece halo sleep sack swaddle at night and we love them. We decided with the spring and summer coming up we would give this lighter swaddle a try. We have been letting our son nap it in during the day and it's amazing. He seems to be ok temperature wise, he doesn't seem to get to cold or too hot. We will try having him sleep in it at night down the road.The velcro is no joke, it does not come undone easy! Although, with how tough the velcro is I am ok with it. I don't have to worry about it coming undone while he sleeps and it should last a while. Out of the couple of times I have used it, the velcro has gotten easier pull apart. I did read the reviews about how much of a pain the velcro is but I think the more its used the easier it will become to pull apart.

My newborn loved this one over other brands because it still let him kick around. Other brands keep their legs more tight and my little guy did not like that. This one also keeps them at an optimal temperature, which is nice!

This has been a great sleep sack swaddle for our growing baby! I gave 4 stars because the Velcro starts to not adhere as well near the end but otherwise, it has been great and keeps our baby at a good temperature through the night. We love that he was able to have his arms inside at first but as he grew to want them out, this sleep sack swaddle could accommodate that as well. We love the HALO brand!

The perfect swaddle! Good even for my baby who runs hot

The material was great but unfortunately our baby did not like these. They continued to break their arms of the swaddle and despite the TOG being low baby was quite warm in them.

I never write reviews but I really love this swaddle.1) I love that it zips from the bottom. Previous swaddles I have tried didn’t have zippers at all. My 5 week old will not tolerate a wet diaper so if he peed in the middle of getting him to sleep I would have to completely unswaddle him and then start all over trying to get him to sleep.2) I love the size of the arm covers and the strong velcro. He’s not able to bust out of the swaddle or get his hand out the top.3) I don’t know if he fabric actually regulates his temperature but it is very soft and light. I’m glad to have a more breathable fabric going into summer. I see other reviews saying it is too stretchy and loose and it’s a safety hazard because it bunches up around baby’s face. If you are having that issue maybe try a smaller size? I also pull the first flap pretty snug and wrap the excess material under baby’s body before pulling the velcro flap snug across. I have found that the material and fit makes it much less prone to bunching up around the neck than the swaddle me brand.4) I love how much leg room he has compared to other brands.5) I love the options for transitioning out of the swaddle.The only thing I don’t love is that the orange trim is more of a construction orange than the classy muted orange shown in the photo.

I know most people don't like how strong the Velcro is, but I kind of liked that so I knew my baby wouldn't escape. My issue is the Velcro stopped sticking after about a month of use. I only purchased one and used it ALL the time for my 2 month old, which is to be expected because they sleep all the time. Even after I cleaned the hook side it still won't stick to the soft side for very long. My baby used to sleep for 6-7 hours at a time and now only sleeps for 3-4 hours. I've been telling people NOT to get this product

Best quality and baby can’t break out of in the night

Bought two of these for my twins in size small as they’ve outgrown their other halo swaddles. I wish it came in other colours other than blue with hunter fluorescent orange trim but that’s not the reason for the 4 stars. The Velcro…WHY is it so strong?! They are three month old babies not gorillas. I have Houdini babies but this is a bit much. When doing changes in the middle of the night it is hard to get the swaddle undone without really waking the baby up. Not to mention it wants to stick to itself so if you don’t have it laid out like wings when putting on or redoing, your fighting to get it unstuck from itself.

Works great. My little guy sleeps with it every night. I personally like that the zipper is at the bottom - in the middle of the night I find it easier to change him with it here vs at the top.The swaddle is a lifesaver for that startle reflex, he sleeps way better swaddled and the Velcro holds great.
