Works good easy to use no problems it's sturdy fits in the hand comfortable. Good to know that it would give you errors when it's being use wrong so you know you are doing something wrong with it. I'm using it to measure my property boundary as describe by my surveyed. I just fine out that some of my neighbors are about 4ft to 7ft pass into my boundaries lines so after Hurricane Michael at florida knocked down property fences so I'm paying taxes on my property as well as for my neighbors that have my extra footage. I find that it's very useful doing just before dark for better reading. I like it and for now it's given me what I bought it for to measure my property.

I really like this product, but the original and replacement units both had dust under the screen. I added a star because I was able to remove the dust on own, but probably voided my warranty somehow. First I removed the four small Philips screws and then gently pried on the bottom from the left side being extra careful not to damage the ribbon on the right side, which required me to keep that side closed and open it like a door. Then with the cover partially open I used a lens cloth to remove the dust. It was stressful and difficult to get the dust out without adding more dust. Please add a small dust free booth that you stick your arms in to your assembly line. I have a hard time believing this product is IP54.

Just purchased 4 of these for our new employees.1. Fast learning curve (essentially like the Bosch counterparts) and easy / logical layout.2. Can turn off beep 👍3. Deadly accurate. Multiple units tested against more costly brands. All exactly the same… so they’re all either perfect (nearly) or all off by the same amount.4. East to read in any environment so far as I can tell.5. Robust. I purposely dropped one from our Normal height of like 3’ (happens often with my guys) several times. It’s still working exactly as the others: great 👍6. Comes with a card that can be used to bounce the laser off, or in our case, slid between the buttons and case, so you don’t have it in a tool bag getting turned on by accident.7. Angle finder. This little noticed feature is a major plus for us. We install stair parts and handrails all the time. This provides the pitch when laid on a stringer/rail.8. Has a wrist strap so you don’t lay it down and loose it.Overall, best bang off the buck… And for the price (1/4 od a similar Bosch), they’re truly excellent.Hope they last a while. These things get “walked” from job sites all the time)

This has been super convenient for measuring room sizes. I’m not doing building or precision work. Mainly using this for wiring (knowing how much wire I need), wireless (WiFi) site surveys, and making rough floor plans. It has been super convenient while looking for houses, very quickly measuring of room sizes.It is super easy to use; I barely skimmed through the user manual and I feel very comfortable with most all of the functions.For the price, you get quite a bit. I’m still blown away by it. Maybe not the best for extreme accuracy (carpentry, pipe bending, precise plan drawing), but for the many tasks where you need accuracy within a few inches, it is great!Would highly recommend to anyone on the fence.

I really like the product, but it was inaccurate right out of the box. The calibration mode didn't work. Tried holding all 4 buttons simultaneously or holding down 3 and then pressing the power button, but all it did was turn on and never went into calibration mode. Also, the laser is pretty weak. Trying to measure something at distance would be nearly impossible without the laser being mounted on a tripod. The device is easy to use and I love the fact that it has a memory. I will update my review after I receive a replacement. Amazon chat was also unable to offer any solution....Update. Amazon sent me a replacement. The new one I was able to calibrate with no problem, and then the old one, after the batteries had been out for a couple of days, worked for calibration. Go figure. After calibration, both are very accurate and I decided to keep both of them. I'm raising my stars to 4 from 2 with the same concerns that measuring at long distances without a tripod mount would be an extreme challenge.
