Skip Hop Baby Tummy Time Playmat, Farmstand

My baby loves this mat. I will admit I didn't check the size, so I was really surprised how small it was when it arrived. It is certainly not big enough for my 4 month old to lay on and play with like I had intended. HOWEVER, he loves it regardless. We have hung it above him and laid him next to it and he really loves pulling out all the hidden toys and all the surprise noises and textures it has. The colors are bright and engaging without being too stimulating before bedtime. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, but with the caveat about it's size precluding it from being an effective tummy time mat.

I love this playmat! I saw many playmats online but they were garish in color and pattern. I enjoy how this one has more subtle coloring. Contrary to some of the reviews, I find that the size is perfect for my 3 month old baby. This is great for play and tummy time.

When I saw this i immediately had to have being that we live on a farm and I’m glad I did. It’s cute and functional! The quality and size are great! I’m able to move it everywhere in the house without it taking up too much space. I put my baby on it and she’s entertained and sometimes even puts herself to sleep! Love that it’s machine washable and the toys come off to play with separately.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Lovevery’s play gym that is $140 and thought my partner would appreciate the farm theme in this one. I like this a lot and so does baby! It’s easy to clean, easy to set up, and a good size. I wish it was a little thicker, but then it would take longer to dry so it’s okay. We put it on the hardwood floor, if you’re putting it on carpet or another mat you should be perfect. It’s a little tricky to store when the “poles” are set up as it doesn’t want to fold nicely, but it goes in half decently. We don’t ever put it away all the way since it gets used so much.Only thing is I wish they would add more textured things and more for baby to play with. She really likes to pull on the lettuce so it makes me sad there isn’t much more textured toys to play with. But for the price point I’m not going to remove any stars for that.

A lot of little toys stuffed into the pockets of this mat. Very cute, storable, and small. No electronics on it, which is great for no-screen families

Most playmats are hideously garish. I realize they’re for the baby, but I’m the one with the money and I’m the one who has to look at the darn thing every day. My husband and I looked at several playmats online and in stores and independently came to the conclusion that this one was the one we wanted. In my husband’s words: “It’s the cutest one.”Things I like:-Can hang toys high, can hang toys low, can hang a toy at edge of mat-Easy to detach and reattach toys due to shower-curtain-esque ring and stiff attachment ribbons.-I can snap up a side and baby can kick it which causes toys overhead to jiggle which she enjoys-Her jellycat bunny feels right at home on this playmatThings that could be better:-I think the avocado, while cute, is out of place. A corncob accessory would be better.-I wish the super cute watermelon was just ever so slightly bigger and made of a less slippery fabric. My baby is still struggling to figure out how to use her arms to help hold herself up. The watermelon helps but she seems to slide off of it too easily when she’s wiggling.In any case, baby seems to enjoy it and mama deems it sufficiently cute and well-made. 5/5.

I was pleasantly surprised at the condition I received the activity gym. I purchased it as a reduced item, “With moderate apparent damage to packaging” or something like that. I didn’t know quite what to expect but took a gamble and I’m glad I did. This goes perfectly with our farm theme and already our 2 month old is interacting with the toys. I love that the colors are nicely contrasted but not overly bright. And the arch that turns to growth chart is a super cute, good idea! The only reason it got 4/5 stars is the clear plastic hoop for hanging the musical bunny wasn’t in the packaging. I don’t have any reason to believe it was due to the reason for discount. It was not in the taped manufacturer bag.

My sister is a chef and her baby theme was veggies. When I tell you this was the perfect play mat. My nephew is a year old now and will still play on it and look at the different food. As a baby it was great for tummy time and helped develop motor skills when reaching for everything. It is a quality buy!
