I was pleased with these. Sometimes buying something with "basics" in the name feels like taking a risk with cheap items. In this case, categorically no - the quality of the pants was surprisingly good. They fit well and feel comfortable to wear. You wouldn't know it was a price-conscious brand unless you could see the label.Not had them long enough to tell if they hold up under long-term wear, but so far I have no complaints through several washes and fairly regular wearing.
