Desert Jool Farms Organic Medjool Dates (5 Pounds) "California Desert Grown"

These dates came on time and in a sturdy box. They were the best dates I have ever had. Wonderful sweetness and mouth texture. I will only buy my dates from this company from now on.This my next order of dates. I love these dates and really like the growers. They are good stewards of the land. I use the dates in baking instead of sugar. I also love to snack on them out of hand. I follow the growers instructions and freeze the dates immediatly, except for the ones I put in the frig. for use right away. The dates are easy to seed. They are soft but not overly sticky. The dates are So much better than grocery store dates. I love that they are organic, too. Great dates, great company!

Old & small not as described !!!!!

Good seller of dates but due to a poor crop, dates did not meet my expectations with regards to good taste. Yes, many dates growers were affected by the drought and hopefully, next season will yield a much better crop. Meanwhile, hats off to the seller for working with me in my getting a credit for my order of dates that failed to satisfy my taste buds.

I've bought these a few times, and the first time they were soft and delicious.. the second time they were hard as a rock, still tasty though.

They don't have Organic or non-gmo in their logo, but a letter that came with them said they were Organic and FIELD PICKED (meaning you still need to wash them).They are awesome. Since I use them almost entirely for smoothies, i pitted the whole lot by hand and then washed and froze them. You can't help but eating them during the process. They are about as good as medjool dates get, picked at just the right moment.

They make a big deal out of being "organic" meaning they are fresh picked and instantly frozen. They do get thawed out when they are shipped and then received. You are instructed to put them right back in a freezer when you receive them.They are softer as opposed to what we had previously received which as they explain other producers pick theirs and deposit them in open outdoor bins.I gotta tell you I prefer the old way. This so called organic stuff you can keep. They are like mush and you can't keep them out at room temp before they start to spoil on you. None of this appears in the online listing only when you receive the shipped dates do you see this printed on the enclosed paperwork.
