These parts fit great and worked very well on my ancient wood handled National (now Presto) canner. The old rubber ring had gotten so loose it sometimes jiggled out of place while I was carefully putting the lid on the canner. The ring is rather snug and so you have to work it in slowly and systematically. I read other reviews saying that you can oil it and that did seem to help get it in place slightly easier as well.

The delivery was extremely fast. The installation was simple. Sadly they don't last forever. Over time they shrink and become brittle. (Years with normal use). I have never tried an off brand made from another material. Perhaps they would be better, perhaps not. The important thing is that I will get several more years of canning done. As far as the rubber over pressure/ release plug, I have never changed mine out and therefore can't comment.

My husband’s family gave me their grandmother’s canner and all of her canning materials when she passed away 35 years ago. I needed to replace the rubber ring after all these years and this was exactly the one. Was worried because the canner is so old but this was perfect. So thankful to be able to continue using this wonderful hand me down.

Pressure canner gasget is too big. Freezing it to shrink it doesn't work. Canning season is just starting, so I'm two weeks late to ask for a refund.

This fit my old pressure cooker, but for the first try it was too large. The second time I had to squeeze it in tight as I went around to make it fit. Adding some Vaseline lubricant helped.

Fit perfectly, easy to install. Holds pressure correctly. ZERO ISSUES.

This fit an old presto model 7B 16 quart pressure canner. It took a little work to get it to fit, but it did eventually. It’s a snug fit - at first you may even think it’ll be too big but it’s not.
