1. This cooker is very tiny, that's personally perfect for me because I'm cooking for 2 but just something to note. It does make cleanup and storage very very easy. If you're feeling lazy and just wanna toss the cooker bowl in the fridge you can do it without it taking up much space. (I won't judge you)2. The cooker definitely doesn't FEEL super sturdy. It's a $20 rice cooker so that's expected. This isn't a high quality cooker if that's what you want get a Tiger or something. I'm a law school student living in a studio. So if this cooker lasts me 1-2 years I'll be happy because I couldn't imagine this little thing lasting longer than that. Once again it's only $20.3. All that being said it works great! I made about a cup or so of rice before I went to bed so I could make crispy rice tomorrow. It came out in about 20 minutes and it was great. I'm excited to use it to make all different kinds of stews, and the steamer basket will be great for dumplings and vegetables.With reasonable expectations of what you're buying this cooker is a 5/5 for its price. A cheap, tiny, but efficient rice cooker that realistically probably doesn't have a lot of longevity. I'll update my review if it randomly stops working.

Quick and easy rice cooker for meal prep.

I’ve never owned a rice cooker before but after using this for one meal, I’m wondering why it took my so long to get one at all. Simple instructions. Fast, reliable cooking. Not much more I could want!

I really want to love this. I used it for the first time last night, being very careful to rinse the rice several times and used the cup that was provided and with the correct amount of water for just one cup of rice. I put salmon in the steamer about halfway through the cycle and it didn’t bubble over. It never switched to warm and ended up with burnt rice at the bottom. Today I just tried making only rice and it bubbled over. It didn’t cut off after almost 25 minutes (per the directions, that cycle should to be 18 minutes.) The switch looks crooked so that may have something to do with it. I’m sending it back and want to try it one more time because it worked with the steamer on it and cooked everything perfectly (except that little bit of burnt rice at the bottom.) Not feeling optimistic.
