Ideal bit of kit, it means you never have to charge your camera and its even eco friendly and money saving in these times with stupidly high electric prices! I was charging my cameras with a little power bank so I could plug it in and leave it without trailing leads everywhere to get to it.I have only plugged it in today and on a cloudy day with rain getting on it I got about 10% worth of power on a Eufy 2C within around 4 hours, IMO that is impressive considering we had rain as well and these cameras take a long time to charge using mains electric anyway. It seems like it will easily keep the camera topped up on juice even in the winter, as long as its not running constantly.At half the price of the official Eufy solar panel its really ideal so far, I will update if I encounter any problems with it but so far so good!The mounting is quite easy to set up and I was lucky that I could point it south facing to maximise the amount of solar I am getting from it. It seems a solid and decent bit of kit and so far its holding up to the elements.UPDATE: 25/04/2023Its still working fine and I have not had to charge my camera for nearly a year even in the winter months it maintains the charge enough to keep it topped up / dropped to about 80% at its lowest, it may struggle more for high activity areas but I think it will keep it topped up nicely even in high trigger areas. So good I bought another and it arrived today along with another Eufy 2C. With Eufy 2C and this you wont ever need to charge them again even on dull days it still pulls enough charge to keep it topped up.

I purchased the solar panel to recharge one of the battery cameras on my property. When I first installed the panel and connected it my battery camera the performance wasn’t great but I put this down to being Autumn with less day light. Fast forward to now and the solar panel still doesn’t charge the battery camera. Instead of charging, it actually drains the battery. I am unhappy with the product but cannot get a refund because the returns window has closed. I would avoid this product as it does not perform as intended.

It works well in the sunlight

I have bought this to charge a Eufycam.It was easy to install to maximise access to the suns rays and place side by side to the camera.It charged the battery 6% in the first 6hrs of installation. ( with clear sunny skys )Overall, looks good do far, has charged at least 1% over the last few hours with hazy skys.....Update April 2022:This panel has kept the camera battery that this is plugged into fully charged since first connected. As long as there is direct sunlight, this will charge.Update Sept 2022: I have added another camera and hence one of these and they work a treat.I tend to choose battery power via the app to let the batteries discharge to 70% or so then reselect solar panel option to carry on charging the cameras batteries to help prolong the batteries life. ( if you already have eufy cameras you'll know what this means )

Commenting her to make sure people don'y make the same mistake as I did. Make sure you read the description. This item is designed to charge Security Cameras... NOT a phone/camera. As a result the panel did not charge my phone ( - in fact it seemed to drain the charge ).. BUT this was totally my misunderstanding. The description if I'd read it properly was perfectly clear.Can't comment on how well it will charge a security camera , but the item was robustly built and good quality from what I could see.5 Stars for speed of delivery & packaging. 5 stars for the promt provision of a return label and refund from Amazon.

Had two of these for several months now. No problems so far, despite differing weather conditions, still keeping security cameras battery fully charged. Great value, considering they were half the price of the camera brand solar panel.

We have a front door camera which is charged by usb charger and wanted to try this to see if it would keep the battery charged.It does. On sunny days, it shows when it’s charging and the camera battery has been at 100% since we installed it.I’m not sure if it will keep the battery charged through winter, but I’m happy it will at least massively reduce the amount of times I need to take the camera down to charge it.I’m sure this will charge any device that uses usb connector to charge.

Hooked this up to my camera doorbell and attached the panel where it would catch the most sunlight.. the device does not register any charging and battery runs down the same.. the moment I attach any other micro USB it registers charging.Maybe it's just not strong enough to generate power.. maybe try a different one.
