Great writer, perfect fit
To start with, my absolute favorite pen is the Pilot V5, extra fine. But it's difficult to find a metal barrel that holds it. Enter the Itoya Aquaroller! No, this is not as good, but it is certainly close. Not as fine a tip, but it's finer than .7 mm would suggest. Basically, it writes wonderfully fine. It's also a roller ball, not a gel type like the V5, so not quite as dark, and almost, but not entirely as smooth. But, and this is my favorite part, it fits perfectly in the Parker and my other Parker style edc pens! I really love this cartridge, it will be the only refill I use from now on.

Good refill
This refill is not as good as the gel refill (which was amazing)that has been discontinued for what ever reason. It writes smooth and lasts a long time.

Total ripoff. Wrote like a ballpoint pen. These were supposed to be gel.
Wrote like a ballpoint pen. These were supposed to be gel. Tested both, same experience with both. I've used Itoya before, same size these claim they are, but both of these gave a super thin, not bold at all, line similar to a ballpoint pen. They wrote smooth, but either these are fakes or they were repackaged into something that is not what is being advertised here. Total ripoff.

Happy
I'm love my Itoya pens and was happy to be able to get the refills with blue ink. The ink flows smoothly and I just prefer how blue ink looks when I'm writing in my journal.

AQR not GPR (aka Gel)
I recently started using Itoyas and really liked them. I am fond of needle tip refills. This is my second purchase for itoyas after one of them ended in my washing machine. One thing to be aware of. If you had bought itoyas in past and really liked their gels, you probably bought a GPR-(X)BKBP instead of this one. This one is an AQR-(X)BPBK.The difference is that the GPR is a Gel pen while this one is Not. Also this one tends to be more on the faded black side instead of the rich black like the gel.Overall it writes nice, however its gel cousin is way better. IMO

Tough to Find, Worth the Price, and Pitch Black
Using these in my EDC pen. Typically, I want ink that is dark and doesn't smudge. This ink fits the bill. These are Parker-type refills and they write very smoothly on a number of surfaces. Generally I'm using them with Field Notes books, whose paper has a very nice weight. No bleed-through at all. On regular paper (such as copy paper), the darkness of the ink will let it be seen a little on the back side, but still no bleed-through.This ink is very black and dries quickly without smudging; on Field Notes' waterproof Expedition paper, though, it takes a little longer to dry.Overall an excellent ink for everyday use.
