PowerBassOE-692T - 6x9 Shallow Mount Coaxial Speakers 2-Ohm - Pair

These worked perfect without any modifications needed I even used the original spacer bracket you will have to unclip the plug in order for the frame of the speaker to fit but thats it I installed these in the front doors of my 2008 Toyota Tundra these did state that they don't fit BUT THEY DO! And they are the correct 2 ohm that the system requires I took a chance as finding one's for these trucks in a pain in the A they work perfect with how short my wire was I had to flip them upside down but I will be fixing when the wire I ordered shows up I also ordered new door clips off Amazon as you will need they brake easy no matter what brand you use even the Toyota brand brakes as I purchased them as well just get them off here and save yourself the extra money hope that helps for anyone with a Toyota Tundra and the shallow mounting depth these trucks have.

Perfect OEM replacement for a 2016 Nissan Frontier. I didn't want to mess with the adapters needed to upgrade the OEM head unit, so I decided to upgrade the 10 year old speakers and, while I had the doors apart, add some sound dampening. I used the PowerBass 6.5 speakers for the rear doors, and generic sound dampening sheets to quiet everything down.This is a great and relatively inexpensive path to upgrade your OEM speakers if you don't want the hassle of replacing the head unit. If you're simply looking to "make it better" this is a great way to go. If you're on the fence about moving forward with this project, don't be like me and regret that I haven't done this years ago. This was quick, easy, and no buyers regret.

The speakers seem good so far. I had a blown OEM so these are obviously better. They needed the connector and also they needed the aftermarket mount. The holes didn’t line up but with the mounts it worked great. Make sure to buy both if you get aftermarket speakers.

Fits & sounds wonderful in my 06' Saab 9-5 with the Prestige 200 (ES53) aka AS3 H/K system. That's the one with 9 speakers total. Easy replacement/upgrade for the rear shelf 6x9 subs that blew. These have the correct impedance for this picky factory set up.Took the old stock connector off blown o.e speakers, then soldered onto new wiring clips provided. Seamless install. Put some self-adhesive weather seal foam under the speaker rims before mounting. Done. Very impressed with the packaging, accessories & of course quality of these PowerBass OE-692T's!

Ordered this pair of speakers to replace driver side door speaker after factory speaker started to rattle. Looked into buying a factory oem speaker but decided on these based on reviews I read on crutchfield because the jbl front 6x9 speakers run at 2ohms so these speakers match the 2ohms.These speakers fit onto the factory bracket and line up perfectly with the screw holes on the factory bracket. You will have to pop out the factory (white elbow connector) that’s on the speaker bracket so you can run the speaker wire adapter through that opening.- I included a photo of the (white elbow connector) that you have to remove from the bracket. You have to push in two clips to pop it out.

These 6x9 speakers were a great purchase. The bass is solid and fit soundly once I found the matching bracket for them. A great match for my 2005 RX 330.

Very pleased with this speaker's performance and 2 ohm compatibility with factory premium audio systems. Nice sound, bass, clarity.
