I dusted off my old Mad Catz SF4 SE arcade stick for SF6, and I don't know if it was always terrible or had just deteriorated with age, but I was struggling to pull of specials let alone supers so decided to upgrade to official parts. The packaging has a sticker saying "Made in China" with a QR code pointing to some site claiming they have to add that to comply with US customs. Everything is smushed into a tiny box that I was unable to fit the old parts into afterwards, but the buttons all have film to prevent scratching the surface and the knob and stick are wrapped separately. No bent pins or anything. I don't have enough experience with Sanwa parts to know if these are fakes, but if they are then they are extremely good quality. Sanwa embossed in all the correct places and consistent feel to all the springs and microswitches. Significantly better than the cheapo clones Mad Catz put in the SE stick. I did have an issue with one direction not working at first, but on closer inspection of the old stick it seems the pins were longer and connector wasn't making tight contact on that one. I squished the crimp with a knife and everything was hunky-dory afterwards. The stick comes with a better quality cable and connector, but the end that goes into the board would need soldering or crimping into a new connector, so I just stuck with the crappy Mad Catz one until I get around to upgrading the board. The product description implies that the stick can be switched between 4 and 8 way, but unless I'm missing something it just means you have the option to put an 8-way gate on there but it is not included. Now I'm pulling off supers as consistently as I was doing specials before and can confidently say it's purely a skill issue. Very happy with the parts.

Kept it as spare since my kids loosen 2 of my joysticks... every 6months slight retention lost on the stick. I still find this first model very very durable. Considering how my kids handle it.. @.@"

Yes, they come in packaging that says made in China, these are still real parts I've included pictures comparing the new white buttons to the stock black ones from my etokki omni. Make sure you want 30mm buttons and not 24mm. The Sanwa Denshi twitter has a guide for spotting fake buttons from July 1st, 2021 you can look at.

The feel of the buttons and the stick are great. If you use an arcade stick of lower quality the difference becomes obvious.
