I had purchased a smaller Eddie Bauer rolling duffle bag and found that I could fit more stuff into that carry on sized duffle than a normal carry-on suitcase. So, I decided to try its big brother rather than a medium sized suitcase for a long trip that I took in the early fall. It also holds a lot and being narrower than a medium sized suitcase, it roles down a train aisle with ease. I've rolled the bag a mile to my rented apartment in Germany with no problems--unlike rolling a 4 wheeled medium suitcase across uneven ground and cobble stone. Its more ruggedly constructed than its little brother, and looks like it will stand up for years of travel. Its a little pricier than I expected, but seems worth it after using it on a 2 month long trip with cloths for summer, fall, and winter packed inside easily. And, unlike many rolling duffle bags, it stands up solidly when fully loaded rather than having a tendency to tip over.

Over all quality of this bag is good. Traveling with this bag on a weekly basis it is holding up nicely. Zippers are good quality and i like the bottom hard section is separate great for dirty clothes and work boots.

I used this bag in Europe on a 3 months trip and I am very happy with it. The bag has several compliments which came out handy to sort out my stuff. The large size allowed me to carry all the necessary items I needed for the trip. Unlike my previous bag, this one is very well made with a good quantity zipper. I highly recommend this bag.

For a carry on suitcase it holds a lot. Very durable as well.

I bought this for my husband. He hasn’t used it yet but he says he likes it. The quality is good, it zips easy, and it appears roomy with different compartments. It meets carryon qualifications and rolls easily with the pull-up handle. It also has a separate handle if you want to carry it.

Lightweight and sturdy. This piece replaces and older model from 2010-13. Fabric is much sturdier and corners have better reinforcement.

I am so disappointed... we purchased 2 of these bags to travel to Morocco in 2024, and have since used them on 3-4 additional trips and they have started to come apart at the seam in the corner connected to the plastic bottom compartment. I love the size and function of the bag. This would be the perfect weekend or compact traveling bag, if the manufacturing quality held up. I would consider this a fluke if it had only happened with one bag, but following a weekend trip noticed the second bag is coming apart in the same location as the first. Less than a year of use and down several hundred dollars. I would not recommend!

My boyfriend has a condo on a lake that we share with his sister and her family. We wanted a bag we could "prepack" with things we need for each trip there. This bag is roomy. The bottom section is the perfect size for sheets and towels, while the roomy main compartment fits all of our clothes. And the bag looks great - we've gotten lots of compliments on it. It seems very durable.
