It's Maxima....what more is there to say!
I've fished since I was 5 years old and I can remember my dad purchasing German made Maxima lines back then. And over the years, before the advent of fluorocarbon lines, Maxima was "the" fishing line to buy. It still is the line of choice for my needs when in applications where I can get by with monofilament. Buy this line if you do not require the advantages of fluorocarbon.

Strong but heavy
Maxima Ultragreen has a well deserved reputation for strength and toughness. I don't disagree, its a great fishing line. It is, however, significantly larger in diameter than some other competing lines in the same LB Test category.I use Maxima Ultragreen a lot in backcountry Alaska. It doesn't replace fluorocarbon or ultra thin polymers for spring creek fishing.Good fishing everyone!

Best light weight line out there!
I've been using Maxima 2lb for over 10 years and never had a problem landing up to 7lb trout. It's all about drag!

Best leader line I've ever used.
The only line I use for all my leaders. I use 2 to 4 pound for panfish, 6 to 8 for steelhead and walleye, 10 to 12 for salmon.The only reason my line ever breaks is because I burn it tying knots.

Works very well and is often barely visible
this product is purticualy good for trout since they tend to be line sensitive.

Works as expected.
I am using this to rig WWI model aircraft, so need very small diameter. Fits perfectly, lots on the roll for what I need. I also paint the line with laquer paints to replicate steel, it takes paint well.

I liked the price and the extra 10 yds is a bonus I use this line for leaders for salmon it is 40 lb
