Cable for Rear View Camera Connection Compatible with Impreza | Forester | Legacy | Outback | Crosstreck WRX STI

This works well to add an aftermarket camera to factory HD deck. (2011-2013 Forester). The only thing you have to do is add a reverse sense wire to the deck. Run a wire from terminal B16 (16 terminal plug) on the radio deck to B434 (pink connector above fuse box, terminal #5 brown/yellow, note trim panel must be remove to see connector block, terminals plug in from bottom). Note terminal B16 does not have a wire, one must be added.

Good quality craftsmanship, especially considering the price. USPS lost the package during delivery, seller promptly replaced the part - very happy with the service. Cable worked perfectly on a first try with 2013 Impreza Sports Limited, appears that the reverse signal cable was already wired into HU at the factory. 6v output was sufficient for Natika backup camera.

This does not auto detect reverse. I have spend countless hours trying to have it work properly and the camera only works in diagnostic mode. You NEED a second harness to add an aftermarket camera to an OEM radio if your car did not come with one.

This worked exactly as it should. I upgraded my crosstrek with a non navigation Subaru HU with a screen. And then bought a cheap camera. This allowed me to plug and play!
