It made an old guitar sound new again
I put a set of Slash APH-2 Humbuckers into a 1992 Les Paul as replacements for the original pickups, and it's like I have a brand new guitar. They have a great classic rock tone and lots of sustain!

You want thick, chewy tone? Do you enjoy the characteristics of Slash's tone? These pickups are all about that. Springy, bouncy, sloppy, with raw attitude that's not biting.Everybody knows tone is in the fingers, and claims of "buy X product and you'll get artist Y's tone" are absolute B.S.... except this pickup, in a Les Paul, into a Marshall - and it's all up to your technique. It's the tone you have in your head, if your fingers can play with the right "drunken articulation."Highly recommended.
