Ideal replacement
I refurbished a used Porter Cable 60 gal upright compressor. The pressure gauge was broken. This one really fit the bill. It came with adapters but in this application I didn't need them...screwed right in. Works perfectly.

I bought a 0 to 15 psi gauge for my brake pressure bleeder. The thing came with a gauge that went from 0 to 70psi. Who knows why? You would have a hard time even pumping more than 20 psi into the thing and my understanding is the target pressure for power bleeding brake systems is 15 psi anyways. Switching to this gauge gives you full scale movement when you're pumping the system up which helps in detecting any pressure leaks before you start bleeding the system. This gauge is a 2” gauge which is bigger than the original too. That's nice, but it has to be proud from the plastic bottle far enough to fit now. Turns out the fitting into the bleeder is ¼ NPT but I bought the version in 1/8 NPT with the 2 extra fittings. When I screwed on the 1/8 to ¼ adapter it pushed the gauge out proud enough to clear the plastic housing. It's interesting that the antiquated NPT fittings are still used in the modern metric world. I wasn't sure if there was a metric version of a tappered thread or not. At least in this case, the ¼ NPT fitting did fit this Asian designed product.

A good gauge
Cheaper one I bought filled with water, this one is great. I like the fact you can pick the pressure range to match your situation to get a finer range for readability.
