It only fits on my extension ladder (Xtend and Climb) on the very top pair of rungs. This is because the upper mounting bracket is 12.5" wide and on on my ladder all rungs below the top one have the buttons to collapse that section and the stabilizer's upper mount won't fit those rungs because of those buttons. This is a problem for me as to use my ladder with my roof I need the stabilizer to mount a few rungs down and it will not. **Q: Is the stabilizer adjustable to 30 “ ?** A: No. I just measured on mine and its 48" wide when locked in place. It has no other holes fir locking except at that width.
