Decent monitor, Good price, but ...
No HDMI cable. Instead they bundled two kettle leads - a European and UK - one of which will probably end up in landfill, and a VGA cable like it's 1997. Not good ASUS. I should have probably put a bit more research into this purchase. The monitor itself is clear, sharp and very bright. Ran the WIN10 colour calibration utility and that toned it down a lot. Using it for a combination of office work and light gaming. For the price, its a big step up from my 10 year old Dell 1440x900. The plastic base is relatively stable on my desk and the OSD controls are typically awkward because nobody seems interested in designing a better way of adjusting monitors. It comes with various modes that might be useful if you could be bothered groping around the rather thick bezel. Usually I'm a big fan of ASUS gear but this left me feeling a little underwhelmed. It's just so ... ok, I suppose.

Great for the price, about £30 more expensive than the first one I bought.
I now have a second of these monitors for a matching pair of the same resolution, make and model. The price on this model went through the roof after I got the first monitor. I have had to wait until now for the price to come down by £40 and even then it's £30 more than I previously paid.No complaints, set up without issue.Only gave 4 stars, as it was supplied without a UK plugged cable. As this has been bought on the UK website and was delivered within the UK. No matter where it coming from I don't expect to get a euro plugged cable. I have emailed the seller but have posted this to make sure if you buy this product that you put in a note saying UK delivery.

1080p: Bang For Buck Champion
It doesn't get more perfect than this... I've used 4K and 1440p of all sizes from 29-40 inches. This is hands down more comfortable. more practical and more appealing to the eye. I connect it to my laptop which has night-light mode, which responds very well to this monitor. One complaint is that t can't be height adjusted (without a mount) but that can be remedied with a nice ghetto shoebox stand, if you need it in portrait mode then you're gonna need a mount but this monitor is more than compatible with any mount you decide to go with. Thinking about the 4k monitor, which I paid 5 times the price for a year ago, just makes me shake my head. This is perfect, anyone who demands a higher resolution has the eyes of a falcon and anyone who needs a screen larger than 27 inches should seriously consider the optimum viewing distance, viewing angle and how it fits alongside your current displays (this makes a perfect addition to my 2 Dell 24 inch monitors). In summary: you will not get a better display for the price unless you take the risk of going down the second-hand market. Asus and Dell have never let me down. I've been buying their stuff for over a decade.

Basic, but good
The quality of the monitor is quite good and the picture is fine. The only quibble I have is with the fact that there is NO method of screen adjustment [swivel].The only thing one can do, is pack the front edge of the base-plate to reach the desired angle required for viewing. The on/off and adjustment buttons are located on the underside and to the centre of the monitor. Unfortunately, there's nothing shown on the front of the screen to indicate their location or which is which, so locating them is purely by touch. Like others, initially, I used a 'Post-it-Note' stuck on the front to aid location, but I found that once the screen was set up, I didn't need it as the on/off button is, as would be expected, the first in the row.All-in-all a good screen for the price.

Great for the price 🙂
Got 3 of these on discount to replace my old 28" 1080p displays and I'm pretty happy with them. One of the 3 got "lost" in postage at the Bristol Amazon facility, so I guess someone helped them self to it... Amazon did send another and refunded the express shipping for the one screen so not that mad.Colours look nice, pretty thin bezels except for the chin bar at the bottom, not much back light bleed, managed to luck out with no stuck or dead pixels, look great at 4k with HDR enabled running on the 3090.You can see where they cut a few corners tho to get the price, the screens are a little glossy and can suffer from too much light reflection, the osd is not great for settings and the plastic used for the back is super flimsy, I mounted these on monitor arms and found the cover for the stand bracket broke when trying to remove it as it is also super flimsy plastic, managed to fix it with some super glue. All in all very happy with them for the price.

Perfectly adequate
Purchased to extend the desktop on my 14 inch laptop and 13 inch Macbook. Used primarily with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Google, Safari and other office based productivity apps. Haven't used for gaming.Monitor is a very close match for the quality of display from my laptop but the picture quality comes nowhere near that of my Macbook. Colours are more washed-out compared to Macbook screen and definition is nowhere near the same quality. As an extended desktop for a Windows based machine, this is an excellent monitor. For Apple machines, it is more than usable but not of the same quality. One issue I have noticed is that it only seems to work using USB-C with the supplied cable. I have genuine Samsung and Apple USB-C cables but the monitor doesn't recognise these when I try to use them.Given the price of this monitor, I would highly recommend it.

Good for the price
Bought this as a second monitor the principle requirement being that it wasn't greater than 20". I was a bit surprised that there was no vertical adjustment but this was solved by putting it on a small box that has doubled up as stationery store. The screen serves my purpose well but just be aware that it uses TN technology which means that the screen image fades if you view it from too high or low a position (generally unlikely if you're sitting in front of the monitor). It came with a 13amp UK-type plug/lead. The supplied signal cable is the old VGA to VGA so if your PC doesn't have a VGA out port you'll need to get a suitable cable having the required connections.
