buoys are buoyant
I need to do pool aquatics due to an orthopedic surgeon permanently crippling me during a hip replacement procedure. I do aquatic therapy on a daily basis in my pool and the HydroFit buoys are a great help in keeping me buoyant enough to walk in the water. I've had the same brand (2nd set) for 5 years now and couldn't be more pleased with their usage and reliability. Well made and I think NOT in China.

These Work!!
I have used these weights in the aqua aerobics class I attend twice a week and they're fantastic. As an intermediate level, active senior adult (72 yrs. old) I use the black end set and the resistance provided is perfect to help increase my strength, toning and conditioning. I even gave a set to one of my classmates who needed a set. Rest assured they are a quality product backed by a quality company. Get them and enjoy the results!

Excellent product
Great product, however the shipping cost make it very expensive. Would think twice before purchasing here if you find it elsewhere.

Very effective workout
The Hydrofit Hand Buoys are well built and provide a great upper body workout in the pool. I use them to warm up before tennis or basketball. Rinsing them and keeping them out of the sun should make them last two or three years in Florida....much longer in an indoor pool or up north. I wish the foam that makes "the weight" in water was covered in a durable rubber coating.

Choose the appropriate size
Using in Aquasculpt classes. They work well. Not too much resistance.

A great product
I use them almost everyday in our pool. They help provide a great upper body workout. I thought they would be bulkyto carry so I put them in a beach bag...no problem.

"Jumbo" Size, "Large" Buoyancy,
Since these buoys were advertised as "jumbo" I'd hoped they would provide "jumbo" buoyancy. A side by side test at the pool revealed that these provide about as much buoyancy as the large size Sunlite Sports (TM) buoys I already had. Shipping costs prohibit returning them, so I'll just donate them to our Aqua class for public use. I am disappointed in their actual performance vs. their description, though.
